Okay! On to the wedding…the ridiculously beautiful wedding. For those of you that wonder how I choose weddings to feature on SMP, this is a great example. I love to see brides crafting inspiration boards that ultimately reflect the wedding that they design. I love perfect details more than anything else. I love a sense of personality and style and I love to see a bride and groom that are head over heels for each other.
This one is all that…and so much more.

the gorgeous photographs were taken by the hugely talented Kerry Corcoran of David Michael Photography
Here are a few words from the bride’s cute best fried (and the person that sent the wedding to us!)…
Jenn wanted a garden party wedding with homemade aspects that felt luxurious. Her maid of honor (Jenna Ball) happened to be an event planner for Paula LeDuc catering in San Francisco, so though she had help with all the logistics, she was making the party favors herself the week before. The event took place at the groom’s parent’s house in Camarillo, California on July 11th with sweeping views of the surrounding vineyards. The first photo she found that really set the theme was the arbor made of driftwood. When the groom’s parents saw the photo they shook their heads and said, “Sorry, no way.” But then, Jenn battled those eyes and they actually scoured the beach and found the pieces and the groom and his dad hand built Jenn’s dream with their bare hands. It was a definite labor of love.

Are you in love yet? There is so much more on the way!
Love the flip-flops - a nice sweet detail!
where did they buy the large supply of blankets? cute idea!
LOVELY!
I love the idea of a Shabby Chic wedding! The setting is so pretty with the vineyards and hand crafted arbor.

so, so lovely!
Very beautiful. Simple elegance made it so soft and dreamy. Would be good to actually show a picture of the groom though.
Oh wow! I adore this! Its simply stunning!
I love seeing the bride's inspiration board come to life. So chic, simple and lovely.
Well done. The photos really captured the moment. Love the scenery.
Absolutely beautiful! Simply stunning!....and I also would love to know where they bought the lovely blankets.

Thank You Abby for putting this up, it made my day!!! And thank you Molly for submitting, what a nice treat!
To answer your questions about the shawls my maid of honor helped me find them in Chinatown, for about $5/each! I also know you can find them in the garment district in Los Angeles and I've seen them reasonably priced on ebay too.
Jenn,
The wedding is gorgeous! I am planning a shabby chic wedding in Ventura County too! I would love to hear who your vendors were and where you were able to find some of these little goodies! Please let me know!!
Thanks!
