When Ariel Yve sent me today’s real wedding, she had the cutest introduction…
“From the moment that I booked the wedding, I thought to myself “Wow! This one is going to perfect for SMP.”
Ahhh. I love that. It speaks volumes to what we are doing and makes me so excited about the the work that we are putting out there. To know that an event designer thinks that something is perfect for our site, is well, really cool.

More from Ariel…
Later in the evening, the ever charismatic Josh Jones from Goodbeat Productions took over and played fabulous dance music that kept the guests literally begging for more.
The wedding cake was a simple 4 tiered ivory butter cream delight, decked out in dozens of full blown blush peonies. After hours of dancing, the couple made their way over to the cake table and sliced up their tasty treat using the bride’s grandfather’s authentic Civil War sword….a tradition that’s been carried out at Warren Family weddings for decades.

Gorgeous wedding! And Raya takes the most beautiful photographs.
More please!!! Are there any more? This is EXACTLY what I am looking for as far as inspiration. Thank you SO SO much for posting Abby!
can anyone tell me where the chandilier is from? or the linens? thanks!!
Where did the chandeliers that were hung on the tree come from?
Kelly, you can find more images by going to my blog, www.ArielYve.BlogSpot.com. Look for my blog posts dated 6/17/09 and 6/18/09.
Hey Ashley, the chandeliers that were used for this wedding were owned by the lighting company (Bella Vista Designs). With that said, you can purchase the EXACT same chandeliers at a reasonable price from, www.GreatChandeliers.com (Product # A46-384/5)
I was at this wedding and thought it was a SMP wedding the whole day!! So excited to see it on here! The whole evening was magical and I am envious of the gorgeous photography!
Sarah is my sister (and Chase my new brother-in-law!) and it truly was a magical day! Raya, Camille, and Ariel were all amazing. My sister slaved over every detail and was so happy to see it all come together so beautifully! You can also see more pictures on Raya's blog: http://www.paperpony.net/2009/06/sarah-chases-wedding.html .
Ariel,
Thank you so much for sharing the cookie jar info. Mostly, thank you for sharing this insanely beautiful wedding! it is a joy to behold!
Ariel, I am *swooning* over your wedding!!! You look gorgeous and your details are stunning!!!
I am in love with your florals, cake stand etc. Would you mind sharing where you found those vases- pretty please with a cherry on top!? We are trying to locate some for our florist with a *vintage* feel, and I am La-la-LOVING these! Gorgeous photos too!!!
Vaneesha
Hey Vaneesha!
Sarah was actually the gorgeous bride...I'm just the wedding planner : ) Anyway, I'm thrilled that you love this wedding. It was such an honor to have had the opportunity to be a part of it.
Anyway, I do wish that I could tell you where the vases are from, but they're a truly vintage collection that the florists had acquired over a number of years. If, you want something similar, check out the Metal section and the Candle section of http://www.jamaligarden.com . Happy Planning!
Marie - my mom found the strands of crystals in an antique store back east while she was on vacation. they came from old chandeliers that no longer worked. we totally lucked out. i had alot of fun looking for little vintage items in thrift and antique stores to add to the wedding.
This is truly a shabby chic wedding; Sarah- Rachel Ashwell would be proud of you!
Hi Ladies,
Thanks for the compliments. The linens are from LA TAVOLA LINEN. . . www.latavolalinen.com.
The ones Ariel used are called Peony in Ivory. So glad I got to see the photos, this wedding is gorgeous, Ariel!
I meant thanks for the compliments on the *linens* as I work with La Tavola! ;)
What a gorgeoua bride and wedding!! If it's possible could you please tell me where she found her dress?? It is soo beautiful and exactly what I am looking for.
I want to know about the dress toooo! It's a stunner - classic and unique at the same time. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
Hi Sarah!
Thank you so much for your kind words on my dress. The dress was designed by Melissa Sweet and the style is called Dora.
I LOVE the cake!!!
Absoutely breathtaking all around :-) This has inspired me to purchase the same chandeliers...may I ask how you were able to illuminate them? It looks like they are hanging from ribbon, so I'm not sure if there is a hidden power source, or if there is a special way to light them that I don't know about...? TIA! :-)
