We have a really cute wedding for you this morning. A sweet Summertime brunch held on a private estate for about 65 of the couple’s nearest and dearest. It was a complete DIY affair, with touches that you are going to LOVE.

Okay, I just love the botton on the grooms jacket. I would love to know where they found it.
Ooh this wedding is so gorgeous and the bride looks delicious, the dress perfectly suits the fun, uncontrived atmosphere!
Oh wow I love the button! Gorgeous wedding!
Question - what color tissue paper is that first pom made of??? The main color for our wedding is Coral and I have been SO hard pressed to find decorative paper in that color... WHERE did you find it?! It's perfect
cuteee!!!!! i wonder what their budget was??
I actually don't have a ton of info on this one, but I will see if Crystal will pop in to answer questions:)
Oh. Mah. Gah. This is MY wedding!
YAY!

lol...was the the button the groom wore?? very funny!
Hey Ladies! Thanks for the comments.
@Jessica - Buttons were from Button Empire on Etsy (http://www.etsy.com )
@Katherine - poms were all tissue paper - some purchased a la Martha and some custom made.
Supplies:
Tissue paper (20 inches x 30 inches).
Scissors
Monofilament
Floral wire. White, if you can find it.
Here's how:
- Stack four to eight the sheets of paper on top of one another, depending on you puffy you want them to be.
- Now, fold the sheets into 1.5-inch accordion folds, all the way across.
- Prune the ends of the tissue into round shapes, to give them a petal-like look.
- Cut about a foot and a half length of floral wire.
- Wrap the wire around the center of the folded tissue and secure it by twisting.
- Now the fun part! Pull apart each layer, separating it from the center one piece at a time.
- Measure the length you'd like to hang your pom pom from and cut a piece of monofilament accordingly.
- Knot the monofilament to the floral wire and hang!
- Repeat until you've created a pom pom fantasyland. The more, the merrier!
@lilli - budget was approx $20K for 65 guests but included a full band, buffet brunch, champagne cocktails, all of the decor, attire, and accoutrements.
Happy Planning, ladies!
Simple and yet so beautiful.
Crystal always amazes me with her fantastic weddings.
Congrats
ahhhh can we get a tutorial with pictures for the tissue paper creations? They are AMAZING. I know it was just described above, but pictures would help!
pretty please:)
For those who are interested - all of the I Love you more than buttons were actually purchased from the "I Love You More Than . . " project through PaperWhite Studios, website: www.paperwhite-studio.com. The owner was super nice and had about 12 different sayings, including my groomie's favorite "I Love You More than the Dog", and my "I Love You More than stinky cheese".
The other buttons at the wedding were from Etsy sellers Button Empire and Sarah Shannon Designs
I had the pleasure of being Samantha's makeup artist for her wedding. She was a joy to work with. Calm, cool gorgeous and happy. We met a month before the nuptuals for her wedding makeup trial and became instant BFF's!
Her wedding was beautiful, she has such great style!
Congrats Sam!
OMMMGosh I love this weddding. These are my absolute favorite types!
I love the numbered table signs-- do tell where you got them!!!
Thanks,
"I love you more than the dog" That made me laugh out loud! That's a lot of love! And what a cute bride! Sooo cute!
If you love the "I love you more than the dog" you'd have a field day with the button that was attached to the Bride's bouquet (she's a Chef) "I love you more than stinky cheese!".
