After being mesmerized by the astonishing cover shoot and 10th Anniversary Bride and Groom Magazine party that Sedona Bride shot, I spent some time looking around their website and blog. I noticed that there were several really gorgeous weddings that were elopements. I started thinking about elopements and started reading … in particular, about how how popular Sedona, Arizona has become for elopements. And I have to admit, that I got kind of curious. Who elopes? Why do they elope? Do they eventually regret it? Where do they go? So I started doing some reading … and I now have a much healthier respect for those who make this decision. I now realize that eloping doesn’t preclude family. Eloping doesn’t preclude celebration, and eloping for so many couples … can be just as magical and perfect as any other wedding! Katrina & Andrew of the oh-so-talented Sedona Bride have provided us with the stunning proof!

And before we leave you today, we wanted to share a couple of shots from Gail and Harry’s wedding that we saw on Sedona Bride’s blog. Gail and Harry didn’t elope (!), but their wedding photos did remind us, all over again … what this marriage thing is all about!

A HUGE thank you to Katrina and Andrew for allowing us to share in the joy of these lovely moments!

Love Tracy and Justin's shot in the sunset. So stunning!
We're not eloping, but we are going to Sedona for our honeymoon. Seeing all these gorgeous pictures has got me even more excited!
Wow, Eddye, you've humbled us yet again... Thanks for such a nice feature of our elopement weddings... :) We shoot larger weddings, mainly, but always enjoying spending time with elopement couples because they almost always treat themselves to extravagant details; designer dresses, designer shoes, hand-tailored suits, unique floral, and lavish resort stays. A lot of time people elect elopements because they can really spoil themselves, and then have receptions at home and invite all their friends for a catered party. All of the couples above come from the left coast, the right coast, and anywhere and everywhere in between. The first couple is from Canada. Thanks for showing our work! :)

I love this feature!! So gorgeous and so inspiring!!
I love these pics. I didn't elope but we did get married in Sedona. Such a beautiful place.
It's not surprising that Sedona is a favorite for elopements -- its cheaper than other fancy destinations like Hawaii and its stunning pretty much all year round. When I was in Phoenix for a 10-week internship, I went to Sedona twice, its so beautiful.
I am IN LOVE with Milley's dress....where can I find that??
Gail and Harry are my favorite post to date! Love is timeless and their love is so incredibly beautiful (and captured to perfection!)
Hey Brittany... Milley's dress is by Amsale... you can view their wedding full wedding slideshow at this link:

We are a huge fan of photographing destination weddings and Sedona is a quintessential wedding destination. :)
Absolutely gorgeous! All of the photos are so full of life and wonderful, colorful detail - they completely make me feel like I was there, even though there really weren't any guests! I especially love the incredible emotion in Gail and Harry's shots. I can feel the warmth and comfort of their love all the way from Virginia. GREAT job, Katrina and Andrew!!!
My fiance and I have made the decision to elope (in Sedona) and we're very excited about the decision. We want something intimate and low-key that we'd be able to look back on and say was totally ours. We plan on having a small celebration early next year that will be on our terms as well!
What a beautiful feature! Yes. Sedona is a well kept secret for elopements. So glad that you're putting the word out about it so other couples can share the magic! Andrea
I found this post while researching for eloopements as we are planning one, this images just confirm the reason we want one. It's all about us and how WE want to commit to each other. Perfect!
