So, we are all about featuring brand spanking new talent (or at least new to us) on SMP today. And ridiculously fabulous weddings. This next one, photographed by the AWESOME husband and wife duo known as The Youngrens, is one part Marie Antoinette, one part chic little garden party. It’s as sweet as they come and I have totally fallen in love!

From the lovely Erin Youngren…
Christine and Drew had a vision for a wonderfully vintage afternoon tea party, and no detail was left untouched. Drew’s mother, Linda, was responsible for almost everything – from the design, to the décor, to all of the floral arrangements and bouquets. The color palette was soft greens, pinks, and blues, and they gathered all of the vintage glasses, chairs, birdcages, chandeliers, and detail pieces over the course of their year-long engagement. During the mingling dessert and appetizer reception catered by PLNU, guests could enjoy different teas and coffees, a full service candy bar, a cotton candy machine, and a full croquet set! For the toasts, Christine and Drew served lemonade and limeade, which was coupled with lemon and orange infused iced water and teas.

So much more to come!!
This is adorable and is really pulling me towards vintage and away from contemporary. Don't like the color of the bridesmaid dresses personally. That color washes me right out!
Squeeeeeee!!! Sooo very pretty and feminine!
Love the vibrant colour of the wedding cake, and the petit four tower is nothing short of YUM :)
Can't wait to see more!
I love the lemonade! and that chandelier! Wow!!!! Very pretty indeed!
What brand is the lemon and limeaid???
the youngrens are awesome! beautiful job and lovely couple!
Oh that CAKE! Simply gorgeous.
Tres Chic! What a sweet taste of romance! Mommie is the dearest.
I love the chandelier! I wonder if there's an affordable/easy way to incorporate that into a wedding reception.
These are the colors I wanted for my wedding since my mans fav color is green and we want to wed in the Spring, I am so showing him this! Thank you so much!!!! You have NO IDEA how much you may have helped mke ;o)
Such a beautiful wedding. Tiffany, the lemonade and limeade was sparkling from Trader Joe's. The cake was from Edleweiss in San Diego. The chandelier was actually hanging over the wedding cake, and it was amazing. Jeff and Erin Youngren are honestly two of the most talented photographers I know, and I have worked with many in the wedding business.
THOSE COLORS are incredible. we love this.
I absolutely ADORE that the chandelier is hung by bright green ribbon! What a fab way to combine elegance and modern flair! Fabulous wedding :)
does anybody know where that chandelier is from? its really cute!
Thanks Courtney!!!
Really want to know where I can find that chandelier.
VERY charming and sweet.
Abby, thank you so much for posting our wedding! I'm so glad we could provide inspiration : )
It was so much fun being able to put our own touches on everything and coordinate with my then-fiance's mom.
I am not sure where the chandelier is from, though I have seen some really fun, reasonably priced ones at Urban Outfitters.
Thanks so much, all!
Chandelier??It's from our bedroom. I admit I'm a "gleaner" . When I throw a party I just sort of "shop" in my own house.I found myself gleaning a store the other day , ever watching for items for the wedding and then thought."oh rats" it's over... what do I do now? I think this is the most fun way to plan a wedding or any party. Pick colors and a theme and let it take you. Don't get too set on one way to do it or you might miss something really fun. That's how the cotton candy came to be. The bride's mom saw it and she couldn't resist. I had an antique pink and yellow bark cloth bedspread and it matched the pink on the machine... made the perfect table cloth!(check family linens and dishes for a nostalgic touch.) Had we been all serious we might have missed the chance for the extra WHIMSY and whimsy is sooooo important! I hate it when brides bring me a color swatch and say everything must match this. My favorite weddings are when the bride turns me loose and that is exactly what Christine did. She told me her vision for her special day and then we ALL enjoyed "hunting".Someone would find something and we'd celebrate. She loves green so all shades of green were invited...not just one boring swatch. So have fun ...anything goes and don't forget the WHIMSY.example: look up the ring pillow my husband made from a shell on Jeff and Erin Youngren's blog.

[...] This lovely morning I thought that I would unveil to our dear readers one of my most favorite creations – Christine and Drew’s truly lovely album design. This wedding was our first feature to grace the delightful internet pages of our favorite wedding planning blog, Style Me Pretty, and the details of this event make me smile and swoon even now, months later. I absolutely ADORE Christine and Drew, and this album was so easy to design because everything about their day was so beautiful. You can read all about their Point Loma garden wedding here and view their SMP feature here. [...]
