How stinking cute is this wedding that The Youngrens shot? A little bit sweet, a little bit spunky…totally and completely adorable. Plus, it’s not your run of the mill wedding, with a dessert reception complete with cotton candy! Love that.

More from The Youngrens…
They held both the ceremony and reception at Point Loma Nazarene University’s Alumni Lawn, which is one of San Diego’s best kept secrets. The quaint lawn overlooks the ocean, but the real centerpiece is the beautiful cypress tree under which they got married. Christine found her dress from J. Crew and added the sash around the waist, which was held by her grandmother’s broach. She also wore pearls that Drew’s father strung himself. This was definitely a full family affair!

LOVE! Thank you so very much to The Youngrens for introducing us to their work and for sharing this lovely, lovely wedding. And to the beautiful bride and groom…we LOVE that you let your own personality shine through, putting your sweet style stamp on every little detail.
the bird cage and bird bath are so fabulous!!
I adore the green jadite dishes! Lovely wedding & Bride ...
This is adorable! I love the bright playful color palette. Thanks for sharing!
This is the cutest reception! I am totally stealing some of these ideas...
SO CUTE! Love the green pitcher.
You've been posting the neatest weddings lately--love the paper lanterns, green sash, and tray of taffies!
This is a very lovely wedding!! I love the bridesmaids' dresses! Any idea where they are from?
Love this wedding! Really is stunning. Will add to my blog
Where did they get the happily ever after sign? I'm so in love with it!
I really am so amazed that Abby has posted our wedding! We definitely wanted to shine our personalities through : )
Believe it or not - the bridesmaid dresses are from Old Navy! I wanted something functional that the my girls could wear later. We sewed the sashes in one of the shades of green that I wanted to feature.
I'm not sure where the happily ever after sign is from; however, I have seen some fabulous stoneware plaques as such from Kurtz Designs.
It was the most fun day ever!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this!!! Everything is so danty and girly, its fabulous. I want to know where you got the bird cage I have been looking everywhere for one
Maggie, Try an import shop for a birdcage but you may have to spray it white yourself . I got this one from a friend and she painted it for me. The pearl letters on it are from Michael's and the leaves mixed in with the bow are antique millinery pink and green leaves... look for old hats at estate sales and tear off the leaves and flowers... old ladies have neat stuff lurking in their closets!
Angela, Now don't laugh...the "happily ever after sign" was from my local Raley's /Nob Hill Grocery store. The dark brown color wasn't my style but I loved the look so I took thinned down white acrylic paint, the kitchen sponge and pickled it in about a minute by the sink and rinsed off anything too thick. You can't tell by the picture but this is hung on a metal sign stake - the kind that holds small garden banners. Behind it ,facing the beginning of the path guests walked to get to the wedding was a sign with "Drew and Christine's Wedding" spelled with antique German GLASS glitter and paper gardenias. That's what you saw as you entered the wedding. As guests LEFT the wedding they saw the "Happily Ever After" side... (a fitting note to exit on for such a happy bride and groom.) In other words, two signs were hung on the same stand, back to back. One to see coming, one going.
'hope you can find one...ask them to check their stockroom, don't give up just because you don't see something displayed. It'll look cute in your bedroom or garden later.
We loved being at Drew and Christine's wedding. Every detail was beautiful, so much thought went into that special day! Clare (groom's sister) and friend Cammy loved the cotton candy and the table with all of the sweets (that was really a hit!) Thanks for posting these great pictures.
Oh the lanterns are gorgeous! Soooo sweet and gorgeous.
