This wedding is all about the pretty. Sweet, traditional, absolutely perfectly pretty. Plus, it was shot by Steve DePino which means that I love it even more.

From the gorgeous bride…
Matt and I always wanted to have our wedding at a place that was really special to us and that represented who we are as a couple. I grew up in a small Connecticut shoreline town called Guilford that is absolutely beautiful in the springtime and so we decided to hold our wedding ceremony there at the First Congregational Church. We held the reception at the Sachem’s Head Yacht Club where I spent all my summers growing up. In recent years, Matt has also spent many summers at the Sachem’s Head Yacht Club and we have many memories there together. It definitely took a lot of effort and teamwork, but we pulled off the wedding of my dreams.

The bridemaids all wore dresses from Butter by Nadia in tones that matched the ocean-purple, navy and slate–and I gave them lucite earrings and bracelets in all different colors, shapes and sizes to fit their personalities. The dresses were amazing and you could tie them in all different styles which my girlfriends loved. Matt and his wedding party wore ties from J Crew Liquor Store in New York and charcoal pants from the same place.
More on the way!
Thanks so much for posting these. Both myself and the bride are such big fans of what you do :) Keep up the great work!

I LOVE those b.maid dresses - they're just so expensive!!!
Anyone know of an alternative for my girls to have dresses like this without the heavy price tag?
Thanks! :)
My bridesmaids and I got really lucky and were able to get the dresses at a super discount. If you can be flexible with your colors, which I was, Calypso does offer end of the season sales where the dresses can be up to 75% off of retail (both online and at their stores). Good luck!
Twobirdsbridesmaid.com has nearly identical dresses and they're slightly less expensive. They don't have as many length options or colors but you should check them out!
twobirdsbridesmaid is awesome, she did my wedding last spring and the girls loved the one size fits all/zillion types of styles possible dresses so much I didn't get any back - should've ordered one for myself! In the meantime I've even considered borrowing my bridesmaids but its they're fav to wear so many times again! She offers matching silk ties that you can have embroidered with initials on the inside, my gift to the groomsmen :) I wanted a purple/blue wedding and was so happy how the dresses complimented the day, especially bending to the styles of conservative Thai to raucous LA girls!
I also used the twobirds dresses for my wedding and they were fabulous! they now offer 4 different lengths - including a ballgown style- and they even offer a plus size dress for girls who want the extra room to wrap the dress as they want. they were such a pleasure to work with. and the ties are great gifts for the groomsmen too!! check out their website: www.twobirdsbridesmaid.com!!
Your wedding was beautiful and I happen to know one of your bridesmaids, but haven't seen her in years!
Thanks!!
I'm actually really excited, I found this myself - a similar dress from Victoria's Secret. Check it out:

Where is the brides dress from? It is soo gorgeous. I must know where she found it.
My dress is Lela Rose. She has amazing wedding dresses.
where are the shoes from? are they wedges or heels? beautiful wedding!!!
Also, Dessy makes a dress like this - called the Twist dress. They are about half the price. I just ordered one and it is beautiful - high quality fabric and really nice saturated color.
Ah, a cheaper price tag that is personalized with different hems, colors, and tube top options (which offers you more ways to wear it) is an Etsy shop called Isadoraclothing. Victoria Secret also has a similar "convertible" dress! I would like to know the brand of the Bride's dress! I love it!
***A price tag for the bridesmaid's dresses, sorry.
I actually love the Bride's Bouquet which is so unusual for me being a floral designer myself and floral fuss pot! Who was the floral designer? The girls dresses are so lovely too. You know... I just love purple!
Love the bridesmaid dresses. They really shine. Love the photography as well...
HI
I love these brideamaids dresses but I have heard they dont leave much room to wear a bra. Can anyone offer info on this as some of my bridesmaids are quite heavy chested and i dont want to upset them by asking them to not wear a bra. Thanks!
Here is a similar wrap dress made by an artist on etsy for only $75!

Hi,
Planning a Nov wedding and love the groomsmen's look. Did you have them all get the same blazer as well - it appears so?
A couple answers to all the comments! Hope this helps:
The floral designer was Elisabeth at Blush Floral Design (http://www.studioblush.com ) She did a fabulous job.
The guys did not wear matching blazers, shoes, belts or shirts (they wore their own). The pants were all the same and the ties were all J Crew but in 4 different styles.
You can tie the dresses twice which gives you more support.
All the bridesmaids wore different shoes--all silver tones.
[...] inspiration for entertaining or fashion along the way. Like these gorgeous pictures featured on Style me Pretty that show bridesmaids looking adorable in their jewel tone Butter by Nadia [...]
I'm using the same bridesmaid dresses at about half the price of Two Birds Bridesmaid. Found them in Kookai, which I believe is found all over the world (I live in New Zealand). They were $180 NZD, or equivalent to $113 USD. My sister will have just given had a baby so we needed flexible styles!
where are the bride's shoes from?
I know that sole! The bride's shoes are from Christian Louboutin. Am I right?
You are correct! My shoes are Louboutin's--not bridal shoes at all but I wanted shoes I could wear a lot after the wedding.
