WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT:  We’re a few minutes early … but Aisha of Dooby Design Group has selected the winner of the Wedding Favor Box Giveaway.

Congratulations to Kelly M. who wrote …

I love all of your color combinations, and the weddings on your blog were just gorgeous! I couldn’t find my exact color combo, navy blue and fuchsia with bright green accents, but I know you could easily pull these off. My fiance and I want to give away spiced pecans. As a little girl, I can remember picking up and shelling pecans from my Grandfather’s yard. When I met my fiance, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that he loved spiced pecans, a favorite of my family, too!! I’ve made spiced pecans for him on several occasions, and I always make them around Christmas time. We would love to share this family favorite with our wedding guests, and what a beautiful way to do so with Dooby Design Group’s favor boxes.

I love the peacock theme...so pretty. I don't think it would work with the campground location I'm looking at for a spring orange and sage color theme I'm going with...but I still think it's fabulous. I love peacock feathers!

  2. Amber says:

I love the tropical color palette! The fuschia and green really "pop" when paired together. It is so festive, bright and cheery! Our main colors are tangerine, yellows, red with a splash of chocolate thrown in (similar to the colors of sunflowers). I think that a color palette with those colors would be stunning. Your favor boxes would be perfect to give away our favors of handmade chocolate covered cherries.

  3. Marta says:

I LOVE the peacock theme. My fiance is born and bred in Michigan but we both live in CA and I would love to have a 'Michigan touch' to our wedding. We are already doing a UofM 'M' grooms cake and trying to get all the Michigan details integrated to our modern California celebration. We are doing grey/brown/citron colors and I'm integrating feathers into much of the design. We are having a close family friend make individual chocolate truffles for our guest favors and the custom boxes would be a fabulous touch to such a personal gift. The truffles are 'world famous' in our circle of friends and family and a unique and themed favor box would top off such an anticipated treat. Thanks for the opportunity!

  4. Sara says:

I love the peacock board, but my fiance thinks peacocks are bad luck (comes from his grandmother). We definitely still wanted the color somewhere though so our colors are a combination of a couple of boards. We're going with peacock blue, fuchsia, and bright yellow. Our venue has a more subdued, elegant color palette, so I think that the pops of color will add the perfect touch of whimsy and fun without overwhelming our guests. Thanks for the great giveaway. I love the unique shape of those favor boxes, I know that we could fill them up with something fun (and yummy).

  5. kristen says:

WOW, these were just beautiful! My fiance and I will have our reception at the local yacht club where I'm from in Coronado, CA, and the interior of the yacht club is made up of wood features and the color blue. So, we are pretty certain we want to use pale yellow as the main color of the wedding...perhaps pale yellow and ivory? I'd love to know if this is possible. Still, I'm open to what other colors would look good in a blue/woodish room.

Thanks so much for the opportunity! These boxes would be so special at our wedding....my fiance is Austrian and I am from California, and we are searching for two perfect little gifts from both countries to package up adorably and give to our guests--many of whom are traveling unbelievable distances to come!

  6. Emily says:

So on their color palette area they have a section that asks is plum the new black and let me just tell you...yes it is. I am getting married this fall and my color scheme is plum and burnt orange. I would love to have favor boxes with the plum with the ribbon in the burnt orange, doesn't that just scream fall and cozy. I am not sure what I would put in the boxes probably all candy's I remember getting at Halloween :). Well, either way their stuff is gorgeous and I just wanted to say thanks for the opportunity.

  7. Anna says:

The favor boxes are so fabulous - what a perfect addition to a wedding! I don't see any specific color schemes on their site that match with what we are doing, but everything was beautiful. Our wedding is in an older home with cherry stained wood paneling on the walls, old hardwood floors and fireplaces in every room. The ceremony is in December and the venue will already be decorated with white lights, glass globes and moss/twigs so to stay with a wintery feel while not crossing over into Christmas we are doing white brown and green as our colors. So my dress is a champagne color and the flowers are white ranunculas and white and green spider mums while the bridesmaids will wear brown and carry green floers. I love the idea of brown and green emerging as the main colors with white accents to help keep it neutral otherwise. I am not exactly sure what the colors of the favor box would be but I am sure we could find something that would look gorgeous. thanks!

  8. Kim says:

i love the color pallettes!! i really love the feel and look of the pink and silver, but our wedding colors are red, black, and white. Our wedding location is outdoor and i think that having a base of black and white with lots of pops of red would make our tent look amazing. I really want to do a candy buffet, but a lot of that is based on what I can get done on a small budget since it's kind of an extra and the total cost would be more than regular favors. Gorgeous packaging isn't something I can do with what $$ I can spend. But those cute bags would be be amazing to use to let guests make their own little treats and have something sweet to enjoy while remembering our wedding :)

  9. Brittany says:

Oh...pink and silver, how I love thee :) I picked our reception site because it was neutral, but still had rich colors (dark hardwood, brick) and am decorating the space in contrasting colors (varying shades of greens) but recently decided to throw in a little bit of pink to brighten things up. The little pink favor boxes would be great to hold the favors: small jars of our homemade spice mix that echoes the Creole/Cajun dinner we are serving. It would look gorgeous. Oh, and can I mention how much I love the circular arrangement of favor boxes from the Marlowe wedding??

  10. Katie says:

Oh my gosh, I love the peacock-inspired theme so so much! We are getting married in Italy in a countryside castle in October and blue and silver are our colours so it would fit so perfectly. In Italy it is tradition to have a "buffet di confetti" where they give "Jordan" almonds to the guests. They would look so perfect in these delicious little boxes (plus Jordan is the name of my fiance!). It would be such a gorgeous way of thanking our guests for coming out to Italy for our wedding, thanks for the inspiration! x

  11. Katie says:

I have two favorites, Tiffany blue and Peacock inspired. Our wedding is beach themed, ocean colors. For our tables we're having blue coverlets under the centerpieces (of sand and candles and seashells), my bridesmaids are picking out their own dresses of blue or green, maid of honor wearing yellow/orange, and the ribbon for our invitations is teal. The tiffany blue would go great with our theme, since it's a great tropical blue ocean color. But the peacock calls to me because of the joint blue and green, which I feel better reflects ocean colors, especially in the tropics. I'm planning on dipping pretzels in chocolate for guest favors, but haven't decided on what sort of box they should go in. I think the blue boxes on this website would be great with a teal ribbon tied around them.

  12. Shona says:

I would have to say I am in awe of the peacock colour board. I love the choices in stationary and how it compliments the colour of the opulent peacock feather.
Dooby Design Group's favour bags would work fantastically with the table settings I have for our vintage themed reception at Hunter House. We are having gold sashes for our chairs and beautiful green table runners. We have also incorporated peacock colours through our bridesmaids dresses who will be so aptly wearing Peacock Green dresses. I doubt I am in the running to win hailing all the way from Victoria, Australia. But I would be absolutely thrilled and elated to be able to tell my guests that "our favour bags are imported by the Dooby Design Group in America".

  13. Stephanie B. says:

I absolutely love the peacock combination it's so beautiful but my colors are yellow and navy. My colors were chosen very specifically to represent my fiance's father who passed away last year. They're favorite past time was sailing so I've gone with a nautical theme (that's where the navy blue comes in). Also, the favor is going to be a donation to the livestrong foundation and livestrong bracelets for everyone (this is where the yellow comes in). We wore these bracelet's when he was battling cancer and it really made him feel loved and supported. These favor boxes would be the perfect complement to the bracelets; the boxes will give the bracelets the elegant case they deserve (rather then the cheap plastic they come in). This is so generous of Dooby Design and thank you for the wonderful opportunity!

  14. Lissy says:

I'm with Emily. Our wedding is all about the purple. Pretty plum :) I also really love the fuchsia and black. <3 pink

  15. Dana says:

I love, love, love the Modern Glamour-Orchid-light purple and black. My color scheme right now is purple, rasberry and ivory but I love the black as it adds glamour. I recently picked out a save the date and I surprised myself by picking an all black with stylish white dots and photo shots something about it was glamorous and elegant. I love Dooby's design group work and the blog-I wish I had come across it earlier as it's great inspiration. I've always had an eye for art and design and would love to have the custom favor boxes in that color scheme. Our venue is very contemporary looking and elegant and it would look very chic with any of the services from Dooby Design. Thanks for the chance at the giveaway!!

  16. Stephanie says:

I love these favor boxes! I have been searching for the perfect box and think these are them! I enjoyed looking at all of the color boards, and was able to take different colors from the different ones to create what would be the perfect favor box for my celebration next June. Our colors are ivory, silver and green...the same green that was used in the Peacock inspired color board. So...combine the silver from the pink and silver with the green from the peacock theme and add some ivory and I have my perfect box!! This is a wonderfully generous offer and am so excited to have found Dooby Design!

  17. Nalie says:

I still have not figured out what our summer wedding colors will be. I love everything I see...and yes I loved all the color groupings I just saw! Eeks! The one that stands out the most was the Peacock inspired one. Love the bright colors, would go great with a summer wedding! The favor boxes are just so unique and beautiful, thanks for the giveaway!

  18. Bethany P says:

All the color palettes are so pretty! The Peacock color palette is definitely my favorite, however my color scheme is Royal Blue and Yellow. I am still in dire need of boxes for my favors, so this giveaway is very exciting for me!

  19. Tana says:

I am a huge fan of the "Plum is the new Black". I'm looking to do a combination of plums and blues for our outdoor summer weding in 2010. Thanks also for bringing Dooby Design Group to my attention. There is so much inspiration that I'm adding them to my Google Reader!

  20. Kelly McKinney says:

I love all of your color combinations, and the weddings on your blog were just gorgeous! I couldn't find my exact color combo, navy blue and fuchsia with bright green accents, but I know you could easily pull these off. My fiance and I want to give away spiced pecans. As a little girl, I can remember picking up and shelling pecans from my Grandfather's yard. When I met my fiance, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that he loved spiced pecans, a favorite of my family, too!! I've made spiced pecans for him on several occasions, and I always make them around Christmas time. We would love to share this family favorite with our wedding guests, and what a beautiful way to do so with Dooby Design Group's favor boxes.

  21. Amy M says:

I think the tropical theme is beautiful (makes me want to have a destination wedding on a faraway island!), but we're staying local and having an evening garden wedding with yellow and gray. I can't tell if yellow is my new favorite color or if I'm just that sunny all the time - I can't get enough of it!

  22. Jenna says:

I've been searching for favor boxes to hold our Papabubble candies for SO long and I couldn't find anything I liked. These would be perfect! Especially the color scheme from the White Diamond Table Scape Design blog entry. Our colors are gray, black, creme, white, and silver. We are having a winter wedding in Miami, FL in a very old, historical building. My dress has an awesome dark gray silk sash with a black sequined brooch and my bridesmaids are wearing gray taffeta with black velvet sashes. White anemones are our signature flower. I think the White Diamond Tablescape is very close to what we're trying to accomplish and I would be SO thrilled to have Dooby Design help us with our favor packaging!! Like seriously thrilled!

  23. Jamie says:

Wow! The colors on the floral board were fantastic, but I"m glad I went to the inspiration board page too! So many to choose from. Ultimately, I'd say the pink and silver was my favorite. The colors of my wedding, though, were not represented. We're doing rich emerald green accented with blush pink, mauve, and white. The chapel at our alma mater is surrounded by blooming magnolia's in the spring, when we're getting married, and we took our colors right from the natural inspiration. I'd love to see favor boxes in a rich green, with a white cardstock label edged in pink. Just like an English Garden! How beautiful. The boxes are fantastic too- we're making stained glass light catchers for all our guests (my fiance is a stained glass artist), and the boxes would be a perfect way to capture the elegance and the color of our wedding.

  24. Kara says:

I've been looking for candy boxes that are just alittle bit above and beyond your standard "box" and I have to say these are beautiful! Our wedding is in Aug of this year so we've already picked out our colors which are taken from the peacock feather. I didn't want to make the entire theme of the wedding peacocks, so I am just incorporating the vibrant colors, mainly purple, teal, and chartreuse. With that said, I'm sure you can guess, but my favorite color palette is the peacock. These colors just scream out PARTY! I'm grateful for this opportunity to enter such a great giveaway with something I would love to have at my wedding. Thanks!!

  25. victoria says:

i adore the Modern Glamour Orchid-light purple and black combo. These inspiration photos are fabulous. I would love to incorporate Dooby Design favors into my September wedding. And on a tight budget, this giveaway might be my opportunity! Their design team is very talented & I would love to see the ideas they could come up with for my lavender and navy wedding!

  26. Sydney says:

These colors and favors are gorgeous! My colors are black, gold, and dark purple. I would love to see a a favor combo of purple and gold or black and purple. But the peacock was amazing as well as me and my bridesmaids all have a peacock feather to be used in our hair styles in some way for an added pop of unexpected color!

  27. Grace says:

What a great give away! I guess plum IS the new black -- I'm using that color for my upcoming September wedding and know a few friends who are doing the same. Thanks for introducing me to Dooby Design. I've been struggling to decide on favors for my wedding, so these lovely boxes would certainly help inspire me.

  28. Jacqueline says:

    1. Love that they're a Michigan company! Such a great local resource!
    2. I love the plum and fushia palette, I think plum is what I should tell people rather than "purple" per my wedding colors.
    3. I should probably get back to work :P

  29. S says:

I love the Tiffany blue tablescape! It is so elegant. My colors are tiffany blue, ivory and gold. The these are the colors painted on the ceiling of the 1920's era building where we are having out wedding. The ceiling was the inspiration and set the mood of our entire wedding decor. Some beautiful boxes would really add elegance!

  30. Jen D. says:

I love the peacock wedding palette!! I am still looking for color inspiration for my wedding and these colors would be beautiful for my late August, early September wedding. I have peacock feather earrings that I always get compliments on because the colors are so beautiful! The boxes are beautiful as is the staionary.

  31. Carissa says:

The 'Plum is the new black' posting is my fav of everything! (Our colours are actually gold, white and pink which I'm actually having a really horrible time finding any photos with e exact inspiation that I've got in mind!). But if I could change my pallette I would change in a heartbeat to the plums... So much depth and its so different! Love it!

  32. Sarah says:

I really like the Plum inspired palette. Dark purple is our accent color -- I have always loved purple and I knew I had to work it into our wedding somehow. These boxes are really beautiful and not your typical favor packaging. I would love to win them!

  33. Laura says:

I love the Tiffany blue color scheme! It's closest to what we will be doing for our wedding. My whole inspiration for the wedding was my favorite flower, the light blue hydrangea that also has a little bit of green on the tips. We will be having lots of hydrangeas as well as other flowers in ivory, blue and celadon green. These favor boxes would be a great addition to our wedding plans! I haven't really thought about what we would do for favors yet! Thanks for the giveaway!

  34. Rachel says:

I loved them all, but a purple and spring green combo would be perfect for my event. I'm using two shades of purple (light and darker) along with two shades of green (light and darker) to match the vertical stripes on our save the dates. Along with small accents of gray, these colors will provide a pop of color against a mostly white background to produce a full, color story.

  35. Marie says:

This is a brilliant giveaway. We don't have the budget to do favors, but this would really help give our guests something to remember! I'm a fan of all things traditional, with a spin. :) That's why the creme and creme, but with a chartruse ribbon accent would be my pick. Something elegant and tasteful that still says, "Thanks for sharing in our big day, you mean the world to us" with style. Inside the boxes, I would fill them with charitable donations to the Pike Place Market. Sine we're getting married in Seattle, why not support the famous Seattle landmark -- plus, have our guests know they played an important part in our special day.

Thanks again SMP and Dooby Design -- lovely as always! :)

  36. Kristal says:

Oh my gosh, the {Plumb Inspired} post fits my wedding perfectly! Dark purple has been my favorite color since I was a little girl so I always knew I'd have a purple wedding. I'm so glad purple is such a big color right now! One of the invitations they posted is very similar to what our invitations will be like!

  37. Ness says:

Plum really IS the new black! My wedding is taking place in an Italian Renaissance inspired 1920 mansion in Tulsa, and the infusion of purple and green remind me of grapes hanging on the vine! With my father out of work this summer, my fiance and I are footing many of the bills for our little shin dig and this would definately help us out! Along with a small guest list, we're also using silk flowers, simple hors d'oeuvres, and handmade centerpieces. I want our budget friendly wedding to still be beautiful! Thanks for the great giveaway! These boxes are just stinkin' adorable.

  38. Kate says:

I love all the color schemes containing plum! They are just gorgeous. I'm also loving the polka dot custom candy bar wrappers. My fiance and I are sticking with a black/white/silver color scheme, though our reception is at a restaurant so the decor is already great. I'd love to add some little pops of color with the sleek favor boxes though. We have a great local chocolate shop that we would like to buy from to fill up the boxes. We are footing the bill for our wedding, and though we are keeping it small, every little bit helps. Thank you for another awesome giveaway.

  39. Lorraine says:

We are doing a gold, ivory, and brown color scheme with occassional accents of an apricot or salmon for brightness. Our venue is very warmly colored, with dark brown leather chairs, and several sleek fireplaces. Although our venue has some orange and yellow accents, I didn't care for either to be one of our wedding colors, because I didn't want to go with a generic fall theme. That's why I instead chose golds, ivories, and apricots--they are warm enough to fit with our venue, classic for a wedding, and match the elegance of my simple silk dress. I love the tall favor boxes. I would probably choose either ivory with a gold ribbon or chocolate with a gold ribbon. We're trying to do a city wedding on a small budget, so everything helps!

  40. Taylor says:

I love the candy buffets! I keep trying to decide if I want to do one and if it fits into the budget...some of those pictures are putting me in the candy buying mood! I love the peacock theme the best but sadly not our colours (teal and grey). The one that works best is white diamond. But they are all stunning. Great find! And amazing design studio you have. Cheers!

  41. Laura says:

Plum Inspired!! This EXACTLY the look we are putting together for our October wedding. My fiance is from Pittsburgh and I am from New Jersey, but we are getting married in Pittsburgh (where we both now live) at an amazing old train station. I've chosen steel grey for my bridesmaid dresses which is a nod to the strength and history of my new home and the plum is such a rich, sexy, dramatic color that is going well with our classic, Mad Men, buttoned up type feel we're trying to achieve. The design site is giving me so much inspiration, I will definitely check back!

  42. Michelle says:

Love the Plum and Black! Our wedding colors are plum, black and platinum, so I love to see pictures to give me further inspiration! All of them are equally gorgeous!

  43. Michonne says:

What a fun giveaway!! Every bride wants her guests to feel welcome and honored at her wedding but with the way the economy is trending right now, many of us are finding that the idea of favors are falling to the wayside. this is such a great opportunity to offer to us, thank-you!!! I would love a favor box in the cream to yellow color family, anything in this line would really be fabulous! Would love to fill the boxes with favorites of my fiancée and mine - with a vintage touch. Including: candy Neco's (remember those!?), a cigar, blueberry tea bags, a miniature bicycle ornament, things that are unique to the my fiancé and me. This favor box would be the icing on the cake!! Thank-you for the opportunity!!

  44. Nicole R. says:

I love their Tiffany Blue and White colors theme! We plan to have similar colors for our wedding. Were planning to havin a seaside ceremony and reception, plan to use seafoam, beige, and white as our colors. All inspired by the sea, sand, sky and throwing in natural elements such as white starfish, white coral, and driftwood.

  45. Omaira says:

The fuschia and black combination make me swoon! This would be perfect for our vintage glamour/rocker chic wedding next spring. We will definitely be using this as inpiration, I just love ginger flowers!

Favors are definitely out of our budget, but these boxes would help our DIY favors look professional...we are planning on making truffles with an old family recipe. Thank you for the opportunity and inspiration!

  46. Rachel says:

How wonderfully gorgeous are ALL of those colour combos! The peacock was almost enough to make me drop everything and completely change my entire scheme! However, as that would not be practical (but oh so fun), I would have to say a combination of the White Diamonds from the Dooby Design Group blog with some of the red and black I saw on their website would suit my affair best. My wedding will be at the Victorian-era Wawona hotel in Yosemite, and that seems to convey the romance and style of the place. I'm thinking of making the tea tins SMP featured awhile ago as the favours and they will fit in those bags beautifully! Thank you SMP and Dooby for the giveaway and for allowing us to see some of that gorgeous work!

  47. Tegan & Tage says:

The Peacock theme is gorgeous! We are having a backyard wedding at our house and are planning the whole thing with our huge persimmon tree and this tie (http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=27607319 ). Their orange favor boxes would be a gorgeous addition to our color pallet! It is going to be a small event (just close family and friends) so 100 would go a long way, I can use them for attendants gifts and rehearsal dinner favors too. Thank you so much for the great giveaway!

  48. Miss B says:

I absolutely love the pink and silver combination they have. We will have a garden wedding in Oct 2009 and I love all the soft color palettes. I will have all white flowers and the walls are french blue at the reception and I still cannot decide if the ladies will wear gold, pink, or silver. I can pretty much go with any color, just as long as they look smashing. I created my inspiration board and all of those colors are present. If I had the pink and sliver invitations or favor boxes that would definitely put the final stamp on it. Help!!! LOL.

  49. Heather says:

Our color combination that would look fabulous in these favor boxes is Chocolate and Avocado. I've been thinking long and hard about the perfect word to describe the green I love - key lime? forest? kelly? Nope - Avocado! (Also one of my favorite things to eat, go figure) Thanks for making this giveaway possible - amazing!!

  50. Bindu says:

The "plum inspired, purple is the new black" theme is probably closest to mine! We're planning for a purple/plum and silver wedding next May in France. What a great giveaway! This site has some beautiful stuff for me to drool over! :)

  51. Sadie says:

I am planning a pallet of creams with accents of light greens, browns and a touch of burnt orange or light pink depending on the season we end up with - orange for the fall, pink for spring.

  52. I love all the different combos on their blog, especially the fuchsia and plum. Unfortunately that doesn't match our palette. :) We are using a combination of a deep raspberry pink/fuchsia, french blue and grey. These favor boxes would compliment our rustic and romantic decor perfectly. I'd fill the favor boxes with matching colors of M&Ms that represent our first initials.

  53. Katya says:

I love all the different options, especially the plum-inspired collection! I am getting married in late October and using dark plums/reds with eggplant and accents of silver and shimmery champagne. I already have the favors (cute little russian figurines my Mom brought from Russia) but not the boxes! This would absolutely help my favors look beautiful and complete the rustic, yet elegant/romantic theme we have in mind.

  54. Bridechka says:

White diamond is so classy and elegant, just love it!

  55. Heather says:

I didn't see my exact color combination on their site...we are doing chocolate brown and kiwi green. The tall boxes are so unique and unlike anything I have seen. We have amazing bird wine openers...I used to work in the Napa Valley and we had our first date wine tasting so wine is deeply imbedded in our history together. I have been searching for a really chic way to package the wine openers and I think I found it! Thank you for sharing such a cool vendor and I would love to win this amazing prize...especially since I just got an email about our 6% furlough/pay cut at work today.

  56. robin says:

wow! they have some really pretty stuff and beautiful photos! i adore the peacock color palette. ours is sort of a washed out vintage versions of those colors. (i LOVE the light sage box and the robin's egg blue). thanks for introducing us and for he fabulous giveaway!

  57. Wow, that is beautiful..!

  58. Margot Fein says:

What beautiful color combinations! For our early fall wedding (late September) we have chosen a palette to represent "fall": burnt oranges, burnt yellows, a touch of olive green,brown/naturals, and ivory. I hope to tie all of the colors together with the flowers and decor. The favor boxes would be another fabulous way to tie the whole color combination together! Thank you for offering such an amazing giveaway!

  59. Lauren K. says:

The colors that really caught my eye on the Dooby Design website were the warm, coppery tones, as seen on the ribbon/belly band surrounding an invitation or menu, and in the table linens. I think that using a burnt orange or coppery color would really add warmth and interest to a palette of cream or white, with clear glass for vases and candle holders. Plus, copper is a great compliment to green leaves and plants, and doesn't clash with black or brown, gold or silver!

  60. Nicole W. says:

The Peacock palette is definitely my favorite! I'm primarily going with a navy blue color palette with some extra hints of green and other blues. The more I see the peacock feather, the more I want to try and incorporate it!

  61. Chelsea says:

WOW! I LOVE these favor boxes! They're so unique and they would be absolutely perfect for my all-white candy buffet!! My color scheme is lots of white, silve, pale pink, and black. I love the pinks and whites in your floral section! I also love the "White Diamond" color scheme on your inspiration board section of your website. I'm a new fan. Beautiful designs, DDG!!

  62. EL says:

I love the favor boxes, especially the unique shape. And the colors! This group doesn't do anything "boring". Our palette is inspired by wildflowers -- bright yellow and white (daisies), pale lavender (lupine) and sage (mountain sage). But I also loved their peacock palette, because is is striking and memorable, while still achieving the sophisticated put-together look.

  63. Alexandria says:

When I visited the dooby design group webiste I was in pure bliss! So many beautiful and inspiring wedding details! I have the website bookmarked under my favorites!

I just ADORE these favor boxes. I thought that each color palette was pleasing to the eye, however for my favors, I would chose mango colored boxes accented with a green (lime but not flourescent) ribbon. We are doing a "latin flair" event and this would be so perfect! I would fill 1/2 of the favor boxes with "luis's favorite treats" - colombian coffee hard candies (so yummy) and the other boxes with "ali's favorite treats"- dark chocolate covered almonds with tumeric sugar and sea salt (from trader joe- just divine!).

    Thank you for the inspiration!

  64. Heather says:

What amazing inspiration. Her posts that included plum are right up our color alley. Although we will also be including tangerine and ivory accents. I cant wait to see what else they have coming up.

  65. Jolie says:

I love the candy bar wrappers! The first one is very sweet and "pretty" which would look great with our cartouf and modern vintage theme. Our colors are esspresso brown/gold/cream. I am imagine our guests gobbling up the chocolate bar and snagging a few extras for the road!

  66. Lonni says:

We're doing jewel tones--reds, purples and pinks. I haven't been able to find any favor boxes that I like until now!!

  67. Morgan says:

I love the peacock inspired wedding palette! I am doing something similar for my destination wedding in the Dominican Republic in January, and am also using chartreuse. Since I am from Cape Cod and we are having our ceremony on the beach, I also decided to use navy with pearl accents to make it more nautical and preppy. I think the chartreuse will be a great bright color for an island wedding, but I also loved your tropical theme as well.

  68. Kimberley says:

I love love love the pink and black designs! I am planning to do a raspberry and black theme with various shades of pink...the elegance of these designs would fit in perfectly!

  69. Gina says:

What beautiful color combinations! I didn't think peacock colors or plum could look so chic...I may have to rethink my color theme!

A buttercup yellow with a white or mossy green ribbon would be beautiful as well. I'm having a summer wedding at a vineyard in the Virginia countryside, so I hope these colors will complement the playful, nature-inspired mood that I'm going for!

  70. Melissa says:

The peacock inspired wedding fits best with our colors. However, our colors aren't as vivid. We're doing green and brown with some blue accents. Our inspiration came from green and blue hydrangeas.

  71. Marita says:

I am kinda purple-obsessed lately, so I was happy to see the "is plum the new black" section on Dooby Design's blog, because I think the answer is yes! It's just such an elegant yet interesting wedding color. I am flirting with the idea of using multiple shades of purple, complete with some delicious rich plum and some navy accents! I think navy will add an interesting flair, especially if I can get the guys in matching navy suits, but I still need any and all inspiration related to this color scheme!

  72. Angela says:

I am loving the "plum is the new black" inspirations!

  73. Joanna says:

i love the pink & silver palette, which are my exact wedding colours! everything from the table numbers, invitations, favour boxes to the menus will fit right into our wedding in october!

the favour boxes will also come in handy in containing our intended favours. a 100 might not be enough though coz we are expecting alot more guests! ;)

  74. Katie says:

the peacock feather inspired colors are gorgeous, so unique and sophisticated. i can just picture the beautiful, elegant bride that would use that palette. however, i've had my heart set on lemon yellow, white and pink ever since i decided to have a summer beach wedding. yellow reflects everything i'm hoping my wedding will be; laid back, fun and warm.

also, these favor boxes are absolutely the perfect size for what i was planning to give my guests! i don't bake very often, but the few things i bake i'm really proud of, so i've been planning to give my guests my famous 'cake balls' as a favor ever since we got engaged, these boxes are exactly what i've been looking for!

  75. I love the fuschia and black color scheme! My colors are fuschia, black, and white and I am so excited about putting my look together. Winning that sophisticated look for our wedding would help us stay fabulous and within out budget! Thank you!

  76. Maarit says:

We are going for a classic black/white theme with splashes of red, for our wedding next July. The image of the red roses in vase with black ribbon & coordinating table number card is dramatic and gorgeous! Perfect!

  77. Mackenzie says:

I think the closest combo would be their tropical colors and peacock. Our colors will be fuschia and teal. They have some amazing pictures for inspiration. We're on a very tight budget and this would just be wonderful to win. I will definitely be referring back to their website for more ideas!

  78. Katherine says:

I'm doing a chocolate and white with a Tiffany blue accent for our August wedding (so soon!) The Tiffany blue boxes would be beautiful on our tables. Love them!

  79. Lizy says:

I couldn't have been more excited when I saw the delectable pictures from the "picture perfect candy buffet" feature. My fiance is a big sweet tooth ... and cannot wait to doll out all sorts of treats to our guests! I loved the ideas from the feature and was only more thrilled to discover the Dooby Design Group would be doing a giveaway! Our wedding colors are buttery yellow, navy, and cream. But ... I have a soft spot for the pink and black color pallette. Gorgeous! A design that delcious would truly be a sweet treat for our guests!

  80. liz says:

our wedding colors are peachy pink, gold and buttery yellow. but their pink and silver photos totally resonate with the swanky feel we're shooting for. lovely! the whole blog is a very inspiring resource.

  81. Jamie says:

Our wedding day is fast approaching...11-21-09!! So much to do and so little time! Fortunately, as a teacher, I have the summer off! We're sticking with cream and gold as our colors. We're planning on having all white/cream floral and lots and lots of candles. Our bridesmaids are wearing navy. Cake boxes are one item on my never-ending list that I must check off this summer. I would LOVE to win this great giveaway from Dooby Design Group!

  82. Lauren Renee says:

I love interesting shapes, and these favor boxes are perfectly unique! My fiance and I are getting married at a beachfront house with a classic white and green palette, with accents of aqua and pale pink. I would love to fill those great boxes with rose macarons for guests to take home!!

  83. Jamie Dee says:

For a November wedding in Tennessee we are using many traditional fall colors of orange and brown with slight hints of plum. Those boxes would be lovely for our wedding. Thanks for the opportunity!

  84. Kristin says:

What an incredible idea resource! Thank you for introducing me to the Dooby Design site and blog; I'm sure I'll be returning often :) These favor boxes would be perfect for our June 2010 wedding - we're planning to have a candy bar and the boxes would be such a cute addition! Our color palette is a mix of two on the blog: we have crisp black and ivory with touches of tropical colors - magenta and bright green. Our vision is to keep it classy but bring in fun splashes of summertime shades.

    Thank you so much!
    Kristin

  85. Cicely says:

Love the peacock motif as well as the pink amd black. My fiance and I decided to go with hot pink and navy. We decided to use navy as the new black! A pic of the combination is on our blog.

  86. Connie says:

I love the Plum bring the new black. Our colors are black and deep plum. I loved the site and am very excited to have a new blog to follow!

  87. Sarah says:

I'm definitely adding this to my daily wedding blog review, its a great resource! While I didn't see anything identical to my plan, so many of the ideas would work well! My color scheme is moss green and metallic gold (for Christmas) and I'm planning to incorporate elements of vintage mercury glass, tin cookie cutters, moss, taper candles, feathery birds, and lots of greenery! The posting from April 19 does a great job of capturing the same feel I'm going for- lots of elegant, winter touches (like the bride's fur wrap and the sparkly chargers on the table) without being "over the top." The whole thing reads dreamy and classic!

  88. Jennifer says:

My colors are simple yet elegant (i hope!). White, grey and sage green. I would love to see you do a post in these colors to put my mind to rest that these will look great. Your gift bags and work are simply beautiful- thank you for sharing (and of course i would love to win!) ;)

  89. Meghann says:

Ooohhh. I love the colors! :) - I am getting married in October and am infatuated with bright, saturated color. My main theme color is fuschia (the hottest, of hottest pinks you can get) - paired with cream and mango orange. Even though pink is a summer wedding color, I'm excited to infuse a little color into our fall vineyard wedding.

So far, all of our ceremony & reception paper crafts feature fuschia (invitations, tent cards, placecards, lanterns, etc...) It would be a dream to have those darling favor boxes (in Fuschia and cream and/or orange) on our tables.

  90. cynthia says:

the pics on the blog look amazing, very ebautiful. Unfortunately none of the color combos were quite on point for our wedding. We're doing pale yellow and light grey, but we're also trying to add some traditional African elements (my origin) into the mix, with woods and fabrics.

  91. Jenny says:

I looked through both the website and the blog, and while I found many, many gorgeous photographs, I didn't see anything in our color pallette. However, I'm sure they have something that would match! Our colors are Eggplant and chartreuse, with accents of plum (beet?) and lavender. We LOVE the idea of including a candy buffet, but are unsure if we can include it in our budget. These beautiful favor boxes would certainly help!! Thank you for the giveaway opportunity, and the introduction of another great blog!

  92. Amy Y. says:

I absolutely love their blog and how they show their different color palettes and florals! My favorite because it's in my wedding colors in the deep plum and fuschia! My wedding isn't until next spring, and I knew once I got engaged that I wanted plum, and olive green. Since those are pretty dark colors, the next thing I could think of was fuschia. I'm so glad that you guys have provided me with another blog to read, and get ideas for my wedding! You guys are wonderful! The favor boxes are absolutely amazing, and I would love to use them for my wedding! Giveaways are awesome especially for a bride like me that is paying for it all by myself along with my fiance unfortunately! Thank you again for the opportunities I can get to get inspiration for my wedding as well as to win giveaways!

  93. Jenn S. says:

Our color palette is navy blue and fuchsia with some other shades of pink thrown in for accents. I love the way the pinks pop against the navy blue!

  94. kari says:

I am down in australia and am in love with all the colour schemes, they are all beautiful. Our wedding is in february (our summer) and we are having black and cream with peacock blue accents and my bouquet is using peacock feathers and cream orchids. I love the iridescence of the peacock blue against the creams. My favourite colour and lucky that the fiance likes it too =)

  95. claire says:

oh wow another wedding blog to get addicted to!! :)

I must say what gorgeous colour combinations!! it makes me want to throw another party just so I can incorporate some of the other colour suggestions here!!!

I love the romance of pink and black.. and the stylish white diamond tablescape design. We are having pink white and black as our them colours :)

  96. nicole b. says:

On the Dooby Design Group blog, I love the color palette displayed on the labels around each bar of chocolate (ivory, black, pale pink) from the posting on Friday, July 10. My fiance and I would like to leave favor boxes (containing homemade truffles) in each of our guests' hotel rooms, along with a couple of bottles of beer or soda, and a handwritten note thanking them for being there to celebrate with us. We're paying for everything ourselves, and these favor boxes would be much appreciated. Thanks SMP and Dooby Design Group!

  97. Julie K. says:

I'm not planning a wedding- I actually visit to SMP every day for ideas for my baby's first birthday celebration. I love Dooby's pink, ivory, and black theme! We are planning an all pink and ivory soiree with a theme of polka dots, and these favor boxes would be perfect for her candy buffet! The pink boxes would be perfect, with a pretty black and white polka dot ribbon. Thank you!

  98. Amanda says:

They are all gorgeous, but the White Diamond gallery would fit in so great with our plans!

  99. Stephanie says:

Plum is the new black!!! I am in love with all things purple and, when I started planning my wedding, I knew that my love for purple would not fail me! I've decided on plum, raisin and a dusty lilac. The "Plum is the New Black" post has all the colors I love! I would use the boxes to gift the engraved bottle stoppers we planning on giving as favors.

  100. Angelica says:

Tiffany blue with the brow ribbon is adorable but what we said WOW to me is the The Peacock style. I LOVE IT and the colors are so vibrant. :)

  101. Anna oskar says:

The white diamond tablescape is brilliant! It's so classy and elegant without looking like the same old thing. It makes me want to change all my colors.
