Today’s delightful wedding is from Charleston’s Blue Moon Events. Alice and Jeff’s wedding celebration was planned around a few key elements … a cool French blue and crisp khaki color palette, natural and preserved boxwood fixtures and greenery, vintage crewelwork graphics and Charleston charm … of course!

SO many of our favorite weddings are in Charleston! Alice and Jeff’s spring wedding took place at the William Aiken House.
A “Mason Dixon Station” was set up … a signature drink consisting of local Firefly sweet tea vodka blended with lemonade and garnished with a lemon wheel and served in mason jars tied in whip-stitched French blue grosgrain ribbon. Mmmmmm … such a sweet touch! If you’re going to do a signature drink, this is the way to do it! FILL it with ice and you’re pretty much set for the day.

“Take A Wish ~ Make A Wish” stations were a huge hit!

Blue Moon Events incorporated so many special touches throughout the day …

Congratulations Alice & Jeff on a beautiful wedding! And thanks SO much to the oh-so-talented team at Blue Moon Events for sending it our way!!
Pretty bridesmaid dresses! I love the bridal bouquet too! Do you know where the bridesmaid dresses are from?
This is one of my favorite featured weddings to date. Absolutely gorgeous!
The wreath and topiaries - is that preserved boxwood?
The ribbons on the chairs is such a great idea! I will have to remember that one.

I love how you hung the laterns from the oak tree!!! The location where I'm getting married has oak trees and I think this would look beautiful. Where did you find the laterns?
This wedding is so charming. The soft blue & yellow. The venue is also beautiful- I love the colors in the reception space - they are so bold.
OMG this wedding is amazing!

The Southern girl in me in SWOONING!!!
I am in love with every detail of this wedding. It's full of southern charm and elegance. This is inspiring me so much for my own wedding!
love the details--where are the laterns from?
beautifully seen by the photographer!
I found the idea of wishing wells really nice. The guests could write a congratulating thought for the couple, but they could also take a good luck wish as a thank you for taking part in the celebrations ... That's very thoughtful!
Also, I loved how the French blue ribbbonns were incorporated in the design: for the chairs, tree adorned candles. Really inspiring!
Congratulations!
absolutely amazing! my fave feature! love the firefly drink!
Gorgeous! I love the color palette, it's so fresh and crisp. The flowers are stunning, the Mason Dixon Station is very cool, I love how it was set up on the table with the napkins. The lanterns in the trees are a great touch also.
Dear beautiful bride,
I hoping that you'll share your "mason dixon" signature cocktail recipe with me?! I've been looking for something similar for my wedding and this is absolutely perfect!
Thanks!
Where are the napkins from?
Any news on where she got the napkins?
