This is a little bit random, BUT, I loved the idea so much I couldn’t help but share it. The amazingly talented Brad Walters recently sent me some pictures of these customized stones that the bride crafted for each of her guests…

Each rock was custom made for that particular guest…for example, Brad’s had a religious symbol and a musical note fused into the design. Talk about putting your personal stamp on your wedding! LOVE!

Wow. those are fantastic!
Holy moly! I just wonder how long that took. Dang, I'm impressed
Absolutely amazing!
I adore the idea of a handmade product that is so incredibly personalized and thoughtful. I am sure that her guests held onto those rocks long after they would have held onto a bottle of bubbles with ribbon on it.
Is there a DIY for this? I would totally do this!!!!
great idea! the handmade touch makes the gift so much more personal.
What a wonderful idea for favours! This has to have been one really talented bride :) Sincere congratulations :)
I thought the first photo was chocolate! Ha! Those stones look good enough to eat!
Just be sure not to piss them off, the whole wedding party has rocks :-0
LOL@Dan- that's a good one! Hah!
Abby- is there a way that you can find out how this was done? I can't believe that they were handmade...was there a stencil of some sort? Also, are the bottoms of the rocks decorated too, or just the tops? I'm so interested! I get married a year from now and I would love to get started! :)
Hey All,
I thought I might answer some of the questions about the rocks. I was Jessica's photographer who took those photos. The underside of each rock was painted with the guest's name who the rock was painted for. Jessica's wedding date was also painted underneath the name.
Her guests did indeed think the rocks were incredible, and scrambled to find the one painted for them. Good luck!
Brad
WOW what an amazing idea. LOVE IT!
Brad kudos to you! I LOVE these!!!
At age 8ish I painted stones and sold on our street. These are WAY MORE COOL!
I see the BRIDE handcrafted. Brad you are still cool.
Quite amazing. At first site before reading the post, I thought they were some sort of chocolate candies. A very interesting idea, and highly creative.
The Bride has some major talent, I wish I could do something this creative!!!
Wonderful! Wish I had seen this before I got married!
Super duper beautiful!
