Navy and Yellow Wedding in California
I love this wedding. It’s that perfect Navy and Yellow palette that we have only fallen more and more in love with on SMP, with details that are one part whimsy, one part sheer elegance. Sent to us by the incredible photographers at Sweet Monday, this affair is all about the gorgeous.
From the lovely Lyndsey and April of Sweet Monday Photography…The wedding was held at the Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades. We loved Ami’s yellow and blue palette and her vintage but still very modern look. Carissa at JL Designs & Events did an amazing job with the flowers and decor for this wedding and really brought Ami’s vision to life. Caroline Cheng of Serenity Events did the coordination.
The brides FAB dress is by Priscilla of Boston. We have so much more to come from this stunning affair!

Those yellow flowers in the BM bouquets are yellow peonies and they are soooo amazing. And IKEA sells baroque style frames like that. I'm not sure if it's exactly the same but with a little white spray paint it would be pretty close!

those frames are definitely from ikea - i had the same ones at my wedding. i sprayed them very easily w/ the spray paint made for plastic products.

hi everyone! thanks for all the sweet comments on the design and decor...the large frames are indeed from ikea and we hand painted them white...the rest of the frames and candlesticks were found at thrift stores and antique shops over a long period of time...we also found the finials are target and the artichoke at home goods...we then hand painted everything white for a seamless, clean look! all the best, carissa
