In case anyone was curious, my cake was done by Desserts by Rita in Havre de Grace. Not only was it prety to look at, the cake was so delicious, there literally was not a slice left (except for the top layer and the 2 slices our wedding coordinator left for us as a late night snack) after the reception. My initial inspiration, as I am thinking yours may have been too, was a cake featured on Martha Stewart? I know how incredible that cake was an how creative you needed to be to make it happen for your own and I think your result was absolutely wonderful!! Bravo!!
