I was also very nervous about fiftyflowers too - but after I read their reviews (mostly positive one) I decided to go ahead and order them myself. As soon as we ordered the flowers, we got a phone call from a fiftyflowers rep confirming our order, just as the reviews said they did, which eased my mind then. About 5 days before the wedding, we got an e-mail from them notifying us that the order had been shipped - BUT the e-mail showed only 40 were shipped. I called fiftyflowers right away to clear this up and the rep reassured me that TWO orders of 40 stems were shipped and I didn't need to worry. Well, we ended up getting only half of my order(40 stems) 2 days before the wedding and because I was too freaked out, my poor husband was on the phone (after repeatedly trying to reach someone at fiftyflowers and going straight to voicemail) for over 30 minutes trying to figure out what happened. Apprently there was a mistake at one of their warehouses and only 40 were delivered. They told us that they would overnight the rest to be delivered by Friday morning, but we ended up telling them not to at all because we were leaving early Friday morning to the B&B to stay for the rest of the weekend and needless to say, we wouldn't had the time to arrange the flowers. Luckily, 40 stems were more than enough for us. Based on my experience, I wouldn't reccomend going through them. Not getting your flowers in time (or the right number) is not something a bride should have to deal with days before her wedding. But who knows? Maybe it was just my luck. I would still try to look for a local shop/nursery to order flowers in bulk first... Thank you all so much for your kind words.
