Thank you, such beautiful work they do. Thank you so much for the opportunity, love following this blog as it inspires me so much. My fiance and I, Matt are entering. Getting married April, 17th 2010 in Brookfield, CT at the Candlewood Inn. Matt is a triplet and his two brothers wedddings are before us as well as two of our best friends in which all but one require travel. We're still trying to save for ours in the process even while Matt has recently lost his job.

THANK YOU! This is such a phenomenal giveaway. I have been following Jessica's work since long before I got engaged. Because of the economy, my parents have slashed my wedding budget. My FI and I recently graduated from professional schools and, without jobs at the moment, have no money of our own to contribute as we originally planned. We would not be able to afford Jessica without this giveaway. We are getting married at our alma mater, Trinity College, on April 24, 2010.

It takes a fantastic person to offer a giveaway as grand as this. Jessica's work is amazing. It's beathtaking. My fiance and I are struggling to save enough for our October 2010 wedding. The costs in Boston are sky-high but we're hopeful that with a little bit of research, we'll be able to find some great vendors that fit into our budget. Our reception will take place at the Fairmont Copley which I've dreamed about as a child.

I think this is truly amazing and brings a happy tear to my eye to know someone in the wedding industry really understands how couples can't really afford all the wonderful things they used to or could be able to if the economy wasn't so bad. I dont feel that I am in dire need as many other brides probably are. I am mostly diy-ing my wedding but I'm just glad some people are so understanding with the struggles of newly engaged couples today. :)

  5. Kate says:

Love the colors! Jessica did a great job... as usual.

  6. SCott says:

    Hello everyone,
My name is Scott I am Jessica's husband. First off I would like to thank LLB for there help in reaching all of you, second I like to thank all of you for the wonderful comments Jessica and I started JCF 11 years ago the first few years things were slow but through god's good grace and Jessie's amazing talent it has been a unbelieveable journey. Jessica and I feel that we have been very fortunate both in business and in life. The deserving couple contest is something we started in 2008 to spread some of the joy that we have been afforded in life to those that might not otherwise be able to afford our services do to circumstance beyond their control. The response from the LLB brides so far has been overwhelming I wish we could help everyone of you. Please keep the entries coming we look forward to reading each and every one. Thank you again,

My fiance and I are both graduate students and met in a course on Dante. Four years later, he studies the Italian Renaissance and I the French Middle Ages. Our student stipends could fund an elopement, but not a wedding. However, as art historians who study the nature of beauty and the inspiration of love, we could not bear to give-up the speaking of our vows before the people most meaningful in our lives. Our dreams are as simple as our budgets: winding greenery to evoke the ever-renewing ties that bind us, rosemary and pinks to recall the Renaissance wedding portraits of Holbein and Durer, and the early-summer blooms of New England, to remind us of the season of our first meeting and of our June wedding day. To have our own wedding portraits captured by Jamie would transform a day of breathless excitement into years of joyous reminiscence. Flowers and photography set and seal the meaning of a wedding, and the generosity of Jessica and Jamie recognizes in its all-too-rare wisdom that financial restriction need not limit nuptial bond.

You guys are truly amazing business owners. Give and they shall get back in plenty.

  9. Charlotte says:

Our wedding will be in Cambridge, MA in June 2010.

  10. Melissa says:

The flowers are gorgeous, I'm in awe at the arrangements. We are getting married in January of 2010 and still do not have a florist/flowers. This is such a great opportunity for people like us who are both still in school and trying to start our life together.

  11. Thanks for all of the wonderful brides who have applied! We feel that this is our little way of giving back for being so very fortunate! Keep the entries coming! Scott and I look forward to designing a wedding that will be way over the top! And just simply incredible!
    Jessica, JCF

Wow this has really inspired me! My birdesmaid's are in teal and we're getting hitched in the Autumn, I think those orange flowers will work a treat with that caolour and have that lovely 'fall feel'

  15. Sara says:

Wow! Wish that I lived in the New England area or that a Oregon company would do something like this. The economy is not helping brides and their weddings, I can personally a test to that since I am in graduate school and my fiance just lost his job. Can't wait to see what couple wins this beautiful prize!
