Okay so you were absolutely right this is an amazing giveaway! I already have my bridesmaid dress but I do not have my maid of honor dress and I have not been able to find one that I like enough. However the Badgley Mischka design of the black lace over the nude style number 303352001, is just STUNNING! Not only is it a stunning dress, I happen to have two (out of four) redheaded bridesmaids! I think this defies statistics given that there aren't so many redheads in the world. Anyways, we've seen the Julianne Moore and Christina Hendricks's of the world wow the red carpet in emerald numbers, which make their creamy skin and red hair really stand out. So my girls are guaranteed to look awesome on "W" day (of course they all look amazing always). This dress is also just beautiful and I love the rouched panel on the side and the black belt. This is definitely a bridesmaid dress that can be worn again (and not just to a tacky 80's party either!)

I absolutely love this give away!! Bridesmaids dresses have been the number one wedding planning area I've been spending my time debating.... I knew as soon as I saw this dress in the image for this post that I needed to find the link for it! As with others on this giveaway, I asked my 2 attendants to each pick out their own style, so long as the dress was emerald green and floor length. I sent them a picture of the dress Kiera Knightley wore in Atonement as my inspiration dress. Both girls, independently, e-mailed me back this dress as an idea of the style they loved! Neither have purchased their dresses right now, and the giveaway would be an incredible opportunity to actually give back to them- in the form of the dress they actually wanted! My wedding is a formal, evening, spring affair, but it has been beyond difficult to find formalware in emerald green. I guess it is just not a popular color for floor length gowns.

I've asked them to each get a chocolate brown dress of their choosing, due to their different body types, but also because of their financial circumstances. My sister/MOH is an army wife and mother of a special needs child with an extremely rare genetic condition. My bridesmaid is in college and unemployed. Gifting them with beautiful dresses like these beyond my and their price ranges would be wonderful all around, and I think this dress would work for both of their body types.

I love the idea of black lace dresses. There is something classic but sexy about them. I love the fact that in 30 years when I look back, lace will still be elegant and beautiful! My biggest requirement for my bridesmaids is that they will get a dress that they can wear again, and you can do so much with this dress! My finace and I are getting married in Santa Barbara, Ca, where my family is from, in October 09. My sister is the maid of honor (she is my only attendant) and she is a young photographer trying to get a foothold on the industry in Manhattan and Brooklyn, and I am in grad school in Boston, so this would be incredible for us budget-wise. But as important, we wanted her to be able to wear her dress again, and to have it really reflect something about Ellen as a person, and Scott's and my wedding style overall. It fits perfectly into our color scheme, and the flowy fabric would be great on what I know will be a hot day (outside June wedding in Georgia). It would also look great on my four girls - all of whom have different body types. My more well-endowed 'maids would love having the thicker straps so they could have all the support they need, and everyone would look good with the definition around the waist.

I'm trying to make my wedding very natural & organic, yet modern with a simple elegance. However, I have a very traditional mother who is very concerned about how my bridesmaids will be dressed. It is so hard to choose - bluefly always has so many great things. I decided to let my maids wear a long black dress of their choosing, that way everyone will be comfortable in what they are wearing, be able to have fun on the big day, and not have spent a fortune on a dress they will never wear again. My girls all have great style, so I know it will look elegant for our evening affair at the Kennedy Center. I also bought black mini birdcage veils for them all, to help unify the group!

The first decision I made when planning my June 2010 wedding was that I wanted very fun and bright accent colors. I chose tangerine, purple, and aqua! However, I want my bridesmaids to wear silver/gray dresses and let the colors be in their bouquets. I think it's a great way to incorporate strong color without being loud.

Oh my gosh you have no idea how amazing this is! I have a big group of girlfriends who have all grown up through highschool/college together. We all lived together all through college and beyond and it turns out that 3 of us are getting married within a 5 month span (all to guys that were in the same fraternity), and of each of our 8 bridesmaids, 6 overlap in all of them!
As you can imagine this has been so much fun, but also a big time and $$ committment for our friends(including the three brides, who are also in all three!). In fact, my best friend (i'm her maid of honor!) and I are having a joint bachellorette party in New Orleans to try to condense wedding events =)

I love this green and white printed dress! You don't often see prints for bridesmaid dresses and I think it would make for a fun summer wedding! So I'm totally buying into the "grey is the new black" thing that is going on in weddings right now. However, alot of the mainstream, affordable designers have yet to catch onto the trend and I am having a difficult time finding chic grey dresses for my bridesmaids. My honey and I are getting married in 11 months and I am so excited to have my best friends there beside me on the most important day of my life. It's certainly not in my budget (unfortunately) to pay for their attire and I would be so pleased to help them out in that way. I absolutely adore this dress and can totally see my maid of honor wearing this and loving it! I really wish I could afford to purchase my girls' dresses. We're all recent college graduates struggling to find decent jobs in this economy and I hate asking them to spend what little money they have on a dress. It is flirty, it is fun, and it not different...it doesn't look like just another cocktail dress. Our colors are green/brown and the green/cream would be PERFECT. Plus we are getting married in a garden and I think this would be perfect for a garden party.
I love that it comes with an adjustable halter strap so that the attendants don't have to go strapless if they don't want. I also think other people could mix and match the blue and green together if those were your wedding colors. I love that this is the kind of dress that you could wear again for something else--if you're going as a guest to another wedding or something like that--its perfect for the spring/summer. That way it doesn't just get smooshed in the closet or donated to Goodwill after the wedding. It might even make a dress that could pop for my sister--the maid of honor--so the others could be in something a little more plain, but then my sister could stand out more! LOVE IT!

This dress is the perfect dress for my four bridesmaids!! My color scheme is royal blue, yellow mustard and gray and I want them to wear royal blue dresses. You don't know how difficult it is to find the perfect royal blue and this dress is the absolute perfect shade! The ones we found were either cheap looking or it just wasn't the right color. I love this pale, buttercup yellow dress by Nicole Miller. We are getting married in my fiance's parents' garden. It is filled with flowers and overlooks a little lake. Our colors are buttercup yellow, pale pinks, peaches and apricots. The groom and groomsmen will be wearing gray suits. I love the color combination of gray and yellow and I think these dresses would look great. We are going for a very soft, romantic, garden feel for the wedding and celebration and I think that all comes out in this dress.
The dress itself is perfect because is echos my dress just a little, but not too much. The gathering on the bust is similar to mine, just a bit more subtle, as is the sash around the waist. I love the fun, floaty and flirty hemline as well. This dress seems to fit to all of my girls!
Giving this gift to my bridesmaids would mean so much to me and to them. I would love to be able to get them their dresses as a thank you for all their support. They have been there for me through so much and I know that buying everything to be in my wedding is a big stretch for all of them. Giving them this beautiful dress would make their lives a little easier.

I am wearing red shoes. My color scheme is a bit wacky as I'm having lots of blush pinks but then I figured I'd throw some spice in with red shoes and a few red flowers. This is my favorite because I am getting married at a botanical garden by the beach. I think this dress is a great interpretation of my theme and location because it is a bright, vibrant color that won't upstage the beautiful flowers but won't look washed out among them. Also, the halter style is great for the beachy location--in southern California it will be very warm outside and I don't want my bridesmaids to feel too stuffy in their dresses. I think this is a versatile silhouette, without showing too much skin but just enough.
Oh, and one more thing...At 26, I am the first of my bridesmaids to get married, and I don't want to give anyone reason to choose scary (read: lame, taffeta, poofy, eighties) bridesmaids dresses in retaliation :)

I love this dress because I want my bridesmaids to feel fun and flirty and all day in the hot, Costa Rican sun. Over the last few years I have been a bridesmaid NINE times! I just barely pulled myself out of the debt i acquired being part of my friends' special days. Because i know what a huge financial commitment and, sometimes, burden being a bridesmaid can be, I opted to go without a bridal party. i wanted my closest friends and family to be a part of my special day without all of the pomp and circumstance and financial obligations. I am not choosing a particular dress for my bridesmaids, but rather giving them several dark colors (plum, navy or black) to choose from and asking them to pick a dress that makes them feel fabulous. I love that it fits the colors I have in mind for the wedding, the feel of our low-key vineyard event, and most importantly the personal style of my bridesmaids. So perfect for my Puerta Vallarta destination wedding! Love the laser cut detail at the bottom of the dress, the fun red color that is the same color as our STDs, and how breezy and comfortable it looks for my bridesmaids. My dress is ivory and our colors are ivory, greens, black and gray so the dress will go perfectly, plus a strapless dress looks fabulous on all sizes, which my "bridesmaids" all are. Ever since I've picked my wedding color, I've quickly realized how difficult it is to find that perfect shade of yellow. There are tons of pastels, but a lot fewer choices in a bright, deep yellow.
