Real Wedding: Brad + Laura, V

June 10th. 2009 by Abby Larson | Filed Under | 23 comments

The details. That is what today’s wedding was ALL about. Every little detail was not only thought out, it was designed and crafted by Brad or Laura. From perfect menus and place cards, to handcrafted truffles tucked inside DIY favor boxes, custom cocktail flags, even beer that Brad brewed for months before the wedding then bottled up and drove down to Charleston.

The AMAZING cakes were by Jim Smeal and the flowers were all done by the fabulous Tiger Lily in Charleston. Event Design was done by Duvall Catering and Event Design. And, the FABULOUS Kelli Nixon shot all of the photography.

LOVE! Stay tuned for a few fabulous DIY projects that Laura has crafted just for SMP!

Absolutely beautiful wedding! I'm curious about the table names - are the table names of places of significance to your and your hubby? What is the description on The Terrace?

  14. Page says:

It's all in the details! Laura, you guys nailed it! You blew me away!

  15. Meghan says:

wow! That is one of the most beautiful cakes I have seen. I love it

Tracey, the table names were places that my husband and I have been together and places we were going on the honeymoon. The Terrace is actually the name of the apartment complex back in college that we met at...Brad was my next door neighbor.
