As I mentioned earlier, today we are featuring my brother-in-law’s absolutely fabulous wedding that his ridiculously lovely wife Laura designed and crafted this past April. The wedding was held at the Boone Hall Plantation in Charleston, South Carolina and was a lesson in all things pretty. And for someone that eats, sleeps and breathes weddings…to be a guest at this one, was such a fun experience!

The color palette was shockingly gorgeous…a deep navy paired with a bright yellow. Set against the perfect Charleston backdrop, it was total perfection. Laura made each of the girls a hand-knotted pearl necklace and absolutely beautiful navy clutches. She also made sure that her cute, cute, cute littlest maids looked perfect with a floral headpiece and a pretty navy sash.

Kelli and Bill Nixon were the husband and wife photographer/cinematographer behind the day. They were so stinking cute and gave me a few sneak peeks of the photos that they were snapping throughout the day. Absolutely lovely!!
So much more on the way!

STUNNING! Where did she get her shoes? LOVE LOVE LOVE this wedding so far!
I love the centerpiece with the lemons...nice touch!
where are the flower girl dresses from?
Where did Laura find her bridesmaid & flower girl dresses? They are adorable!!
The flowergirl dresses are from Strasburg Children and I added sashes with the same material used for the bridesmaid dresses and clutches. The bridesmaid dresses are from Watters and Watters.
This is such a beautiful wedding. I am doing yellow calla lilies as well for my wedding in September and will be stealing lots of detail ideas from yours! Could you post or email me a shot of your hair in more detail, it is absolutely stunning!

Bright yellow shoes...that is neat. The flower girls look adorable! The setting seems so picturesque makes me wish I were there. Feels like the country and my senses are excited just thinking about it...maybe its time for a road-trip :)
I'm curious to know what the little flags are for in the bottom right hand corner of the lemon centerpiece photograph. And of course, can't wait for dress details! :o)

Your centerpieces are similar to the style I'm looking for. Are the flowers spray roses or lisianthus....or something else? What is DIY?
