It is less than 5 months and counting now (Wedding Oct 30th), and we are getting married in Puerto Vallarta the day right before Day of the Dead, but I guess since it's more tropical, our decor is going in a different direction. It's more of a modern garden wedding style in a villa. My question would be advice on getting my DIY on the plane! I'm so far planning on the favors and pom poms. The plan is to do it before I leave, but assemble once I'm down there! Yes! It was just a fantastic, fun, beautiful wedding (elegant without being at all stuffy or fussy). The food was simple yet very tasty and local, and everyone loved dancing and socializing. Oh, and the invitations and placecards were super cute - their designer created little bat and owl cartoon characters to sort of represent the B&G and fit the setting, and each placecard had the characters in a different pose. It was as if a flip book had been broken out into dozens of placecards, and such a nice touch! There were also chocolate skull favors. So many great little touches! hi, everyone!
