I have a confession to make. The last couple of weeks I have been feeling a little, well…wedding exhausted. It’s just that I eat, sleep and breathe weddings with poufy white dresses and perfect chandeliers literally haunting my dreams. I know you guys can relate.
Well, lucky for me, this past weekend my husband and I attended one of those weddings that can make any girl fall in love all over again. And it MORE than excited my wedding nuttiness! So I owe a HUGE thank you to Jennie and Matt for letting us share in their big day and for single handedly making me jump out of bed to start writing today.
Today’s featured wedding just might take the cake for my new favorite wedding on SMP. It’s pure perfection. Sent to us by Jennifer at Alders Photography, this is a budget wedding…with more beauty and more unabashed romance than most of the expensive weddings I’ve seen!

WE have TONS of gorgeous photographs and details coming up today so check back in a bit! Also, a sneaky peek of whats to come this week…more giveaways that are going to make your heart skip a beat, a pretty incredible rehearsal dinner, some engagement sessions that are absolute loveliness and a handful of real weddings that will make you giddy!

LOVE THE NECKLACE, please share where you got it?
The bride made the necklace herself! Stay tuned for a DIY post on how she made it!
Dress was group USA
Just beautiful! I'm trying for a "budget" wedding myself. +Can you give a ballpark figure for your decor? I plan on making a lot myself (including centerpieces and all jewelry, including our rings) and am just getting started with scouring vintage stores and bazaars for cool finds. Thanks!
Hey gals! Sorry it has taken me so long to get back- as some of you know- even after the wedding it can be crazy. I suppose I am supposed to be sending in a DIY on the necklace- so, I'll get to that soon. I see that most questions have been answered in regards to everything else. Yes, Target saved my hiney! Also, I highly recommend looking into Group USA for dresses. They don't have a huge selection, but what they did have was nice and fairly inexpensive. My dress ran me around $450. Just at my budget. As far as the budget on the decor- I literally bought everything at thrift stores and garage sales. I just kept a sharp eye for antique looking lamps, candle holders, hanging lights and so on- then touched them up a bit once I got them home. I would say total spent on Decor (aside from flowers) was maybe $300. I must say though, I was blessed to have a friend of the families donate the crystals for me to use to build the chandeliers, as well as the white table cloths.
Wow Good on ya Stephanie! Youre an inspiration!
where was your wedding? your location looks amazing? i love it!
Any DIY necklace plans. Two rows of that necklace would be perfect for my bridesmaids. Let me know! It is amazing!
