When the fabulous Jennifer at Alders Photography sent me today’s featured wedding, I took one look at the bride’s necklace and literally squealed with delight. I have this thing for a bride that isn’t afraid to rock some seriously great necklaces with an otherwise sweet and traditional look. It adds that bit of chic that takes the style to an all new level.

And guess what ladies…the perfect bride, Stephanie, made the jewels herself! The groom went with all-vested attire for his groom’s men. The bride allowed all her bride’s maids to choose their own dresses in the beige/taupe color palette for the wedding.
We have so many more gorgeous details on the way in just a bit. And, if you haven’t already entered the Fuzzynk Giveaway, don’t forget to do that today!
beautiful flowers! what kind are they?
WHERE did the bride get those gorgeous bridesmaid dresses?!? I LOVE them.
I'm pretty sure the flowers are Peonies... they are gorgeous! And I love her necklaces!
what a gorgeous bride she made.
I'm in love with her necklace! Anyone have an idea whether that's a collection of pearls or one fabulous connected piece and where it might be from?
Girls...the bride made her necklace! Crazy pretty, isn't it!
Any idea how we could learn to make that FABULOUS necklace??? I've fallen in love!
How crafty! I think it's time for me to ditch the sewing machine and start figuring out jewelry because that looks amazing.
Alders captured the magic w/ her photography skills! The bride is my sister in law. She did an amazing job. She spray painted chandeliers from thrift stores and decked them out w/ crystals + hung crystals from trees. As for the bridemaids dresses she let us each pick them out, which was kind of nerve racking but in the end we all got the right color. I think that was the best part, she didn't care, she was not a bridezilla, she is the real deal!
Tricia, or anyone else, that groomsmen look is EXACTLY what I'm trying to acheive for my October wedding, but am having trouble finding vests. Do you know where the groomsmen got them? thanks for any info
Great choice going with the vest only! Hmmm...maybe something I might "borrow" for our May 2010 wedding :o) Thanks for the inspiration!
I am so thrilled you girls love the necklace. As I was making it, I kept thinking to myself- am I actually going to where this? Will it be too "gawdy". I am so happy I did, Jenny Smith of Alders Photography did an AMAZING job of capturing everything. Tiffany, as far as the groomsmen- we just rented the most simple black vest from Men's warehouse. We had the guys rent vests and slacks ($30 total)- they provided their own shirts and shoes- and Nathan and I provided the ties as groomsmen gifts. The girls were all great about picking out dresses- I just gave them color scheme and they all did so well! Don't let Tricia fool you-she helped with the Chandeliers and was a huge part of creating the magic!
By the way-Abby, thanks for featuring us, I am simply thrilled!
Perhaps a "how-to" on the necklace? Hmmmmm......
just GORGEOUS!!
Who made her dress? It looks a lot like my wedding dress but I haven't seen many brides wear it.
I am curious who the designer is.
What's with the peonies?! Are they that trendy or is it because they're a summer flower?
