Marisa and Jeremy met through mutual friends one sunny July day at Rye Beach and they’ve been together ever since!
Their wedding photos were sent to us by Little Black Book member, Linnea, of Tangorra Wedding Planning in Boston …

They were married on August 8th, 2008. Marisa & Jeremy took advantage of this special date by celebrating their wedding in beautiful downtown Boston!

Marisa’s beautiful gown was designed by … the other Marisa!

Their big-city-chic wedding reception at the magnificent State Room was the epitome of sophisticated charm.

Floral design was by Little Black Book member, Jwrobel … simple, stylish and city-chic!

The magic of candles cannot be underestimated. Fill a room with the glow of a hundred candles and poof! Instant charm.

Gorgeous! Eight is considered a lucky number in China. To be married on 8-8-08 is very special. It also happens to be my birthday! I wonder if the planner knew this and added the lucky bamboo as a nod to this fact?
Thank you so much for posting this - it was one of our favorites of the year!
To 'Thirty-Something Bride' - yes, we did add the lucky bamboo because of the lucky 8-8-08 - good catch! :)
Can I ask where the gorgeous bridesmaid dresses were from?
The bridesmaids dresses are by Amsale.
Thank you!
Who makes your gorgeous veil?!
Can I ask wear you got your shoes? I love them!
The centerpieces are gorgeous! understated, not over the top, but still breath taking.
Beautiful bride and dress, the wedding photographs are great, especially the attention to detail and the close up shots. The wedding venue looks fantastic!
Lovely Wedding Photography! The accessories at weddings so often get overlooked so it's lovely to see lots of beautiful examples of them here.
It's lovely to see a bride in a long, flowing veil. Quite a lot of brides don't bother with a veil these days but from a photographers point of view a veil really sets the bride and dress off beautifully.
