Karen Tran, the genius behind today’s featured weddings, crafted the flowers for this seaside affair with a sense of sophisticated elegance…a look that was inspired by her surroundings, but not at all cliche or themed. I love that. The perfect orchids, the delicate shells, the neutral but forever beautiful color palette. Pure gorgeousness.

It’s a little known fact that small, intimate destination affairs are actually a better budget option than a homegrown wedding…with so few guests, you have more wiggle room on your decor, on making the experience all about luxury and romance. Although not practical for everyone (read: my huge Irish Catholic family would never let me get away with this), for the right bride and groom…it’s a dream!

Thank you so much to Karen Tran for sending us today’s wedding! When I say that it was beautiful, I am hardly doing it justice. Karen’s work is always a perfect combination of chic style and approachable elegance. If you are lucky enough to hire her, you can sleep easy knowing that your affair will be drop. dead. gorgeous.
We have another wedding coming up!

Is that a little cake?!?!?! I'm in love.
I am a wedding consultant/event planner. I completely love the different direction on this beach wedding. The individual cake gave an elegance in my opinion to a relaxed feeling. I would like to know where to purchase the small glass cake stand.
Just love the effect of color. Sets the scene beautifully.
I love the table setting...especially the orchids!
This is beautiful! :) One sweet day i'll have a beach wedding. hehe.

This family picture is great! What a fab memory for that family.
Beautiful wedding!

Who made her dress (style number too please)!?
STUNNING. Just a beautiful beachside wedding. LOVE the orchids...
We are doing centerpiece cakes as well in July! I love that they are different! And slightly "greener" since we don't have to get as many flowers.
What a beautiful event!
I bet the little cake stand is a candle holder. Everthing is beautiful. Love the flowers.
