So I took the day off yesterday! That just might be the first time in two years that I’ve randomly played hookie. And it was great…all day of doing absolutely nothing. Perfection.
But, I am back today with tons of eye candy and inspiration, with a real wedding, some fun sneak peeks and so much more! The first wedding was sent to me by the oh so talented talented Suzi Q of the fabulous Q Weddings. It’s all about rustic, approachable chicness…

The wedding took place at Gintara Resort in Union Pier, Michigan on October 11th of 2008. The couple decided to have a destination wedding where they would be surrounded by friends, family and great danes. Jenifer rescues stray cats and Scott rescues great danes. They included their furry friends in their celebration. They even included cats and dogs on their invites and towels they gave as favors. The best part: their ring bearer was Blue (who was more interested in napping during the ceremony).
Much more on the way!

Such a beautiful dress.
But the biggest yay must be for the canine cutie! If only I could get my feline friends to be as well behaved.
Love those flower girl dresses and would love to know where they're from. All 7 of my nieces are flower girls and I want a simple dress to accommodate their range of sizes and ages.
Such a beautiful dress, where is it from? I am looking for something like that for my wedding next summer!
Hi... it's Jenifer (of Jenifer and Scott). The bridesmaids dresses were from Bella Bridesmaid in Chicago from the Simple Silhouettes line. The two older girls wore adult dresses, the two 10-year olds wore junior bridesmaid dresses and the 4 year old wore a flowergirl dress.
My dress was a custom piece by a really talented lady named Julia Needlman, also in Chicago. www.julianeedlman.com She constructed the dress from a selection of different pieces of old lace that she had been collecting over the years.
This wedding is so sweet.
