Real Wedding: Jennifer and Scott, III
There is just something so charming about today’s first featured wedding. The camp-style ambiance, the sweet little bridal party, the perfectly approachable decor. I love when couples let the simplicity of their personalities come through and design a wedding that is absolutely perfect for their own life, their own love.
From Q Weddings…Friends chipped in and helped decorate the tent, the reception and the cocktail tent. Jenifer had been spending a lot of time on eBay, buying up hoards of vintage blue mason jars. Friends filled the jars with fresh-cut wildflowers, including blue thistles. She also found someone who had just gotten married and was selling a bunch of Japanese lanterns. After the wedding, Jenifer had already located someone else who was getting married, so she sold the lanterns again. Both economical and eco-conscious.

What a lovely, sweet wedding! They did a brilliant job in keeping with the feel of the surroundings. Love the photo of the bride and groom. THey look relaxed and so in love... very happy in each other's arms. Now THAT'S joy!

This is Jenifer (from Scott & Jenifer)... the invites were done by Andrea Tahlier at Float Paperie in Chicago. She took an existing design of hers and added the cats and dog to make it just right for me & Scott... he runs a Great Dane rescue and I have two cats that he's terribly allergic to.
And Suzi Q, of Q Weddings photography of course made everything look totally beautiful.
Boy, after spending so much time looking at all these cool wedding sites it sure is cool to be on one!
