It’s really the details that take this wedding to an entirely new level…the perfect little touches that the bride so thoughtfully infused into the day. With the help of Megan Fickling of La Partie Events, the wedding was show stoppingly gorgeous! The amazing photos are courtesy of the fabulous Erin Heart’s Court…

From Megan…The large ceremony pomanders were reused at the reception around the pool. The bride and groom made the centerpieces with bowls from IKEA, planted succulents and over-sized metal address numbers from Anthropologie. I complemented them with yellow crespedia balls in white IKEA bud vases and clusters of beaded glass votive candle holders from Crate and Barrel. We complemented the yellow and gray décor with bright yellow vases from Pottery Barn planted with succulents and accented with yellow yarrow on the sweets and escort card tables.

One more little tidbit…The bride, who is in advertising, designed all of the printed materials (invites, menus, escort card succulent tags, welcome bag flip books, ceremony program hand fans, signs for the smores, guest book and sweets tables, adorable guest shuttle and bathroom signs, etc).
The table numbers are great - where are they from?
I seriously can't get over how amazing this wedding is!
Ok, this wedding is seriously amazing. The centerpiece bowls are amazing!
Did she say how she made the giant pomanders?? If not can she share, or do a tutorial post?! Beautiful wedding!
hi erica. the large pom poms are from the etsy store "pom pom love." meg
I love the pomanders and how they were used. I just did a wedding ( pictures on my blog http://lillylynnevents.blogspot.com ) where they bride made her own out of tissue paper and then incorporated them in both the ceremony and the reception.
This wedding is gorgeuos and I love the touch of the candy and cupcakes! Cupcakes are such a great touch for weddings!!

Does anyone know where the groom purchased his tie? Or if Meg stops back please share!
everything looks awesome! love it! i am using succulents for my wedding too. where did you buy all your succulents?
yes. love the table numbers! where are they from?
What was the wedding venue? It looks beautiful. Were the wedding and the reception at the same place?
the reception venue was the movie colony hotel in palm springs and the ceremony venue was a private home owned by the hotel co-owners.
the napkins and table runner were custom sewn by the mothers with fabric bought on etsy.
wedding venue: movie colony hotel & private home
tie: not sure but will check with the bride
table numbers: anthropologie

did she make the pom poms that were thrown or buy??
This the greatest wedding I have ever seen. I would like to know where to get those yellow billy buttons; I scoured the web for them for my wedding and came up with nothing. I think it may have just been because they were out of season...but I'd still like to know.
I was wondering where you purchased the Craspedia flowers and succulents for the flowers. I am looking to DIY all of my flowers and I love your bouquet, it is the best and most original one I have seen.
