Real Wedding: The Details, III

April 13th. 2009 by Abby Larson | 4 comments

There is something so unbelievably cohesive and yet so wonderfully effortless about today’s featured affair. The decor blends seamlessly with the natural surrounding and doesn’t at all seem over styled or designed.

The white and teal palette, paired with the silver and natural hues is FLAWLESS. Placing huge hurricane vases with pillar candles in the sand is genius and added that touch of romance that every reception needs. I can’t say enough about this gorgeous...

Real Wedding: The Details, II

April 13th. 2009 by Abby Larson | 4 comments

When I talk about “the details” on SMP…what I really mean are the little things. Thoughtful touches that make a wedding truly memorable…perhaps it’s simply serving food that reflects your personalities or designing menu cards, place cards and programs that are charming and sweet, favors that are so “you.” The details are the little things that truly elevate a wedding.

Although not everyone can have a wedding in paradise, everyone can find...

Real Wedding: The Details

April 13th. 2009 by Abby Larson | 6 comments

We featured this wedding in an Inspiration Board format a LONG time ago, but recently, the fabulous photographer, Elizabeth Messina, sent me even more photos from the event and I had to share.

I sometimes sound like a broken record when I say that a wedding really is all in the details. But it’s so true. And there is no one that does details better than Lisa Vorce...

A Wedding Tip….

Silhouettes by Cut Arts

April 13th. 2009 by Abby Larson | 3 comments

We have had so many emails about the ridiculously great silhouette artist that was featured in Kisma and John’s real wedding last week, I have decided to let the cat out of the bag! The artist behind this brilliant idea was Karl Johnson of the fabulous Cut Arts.

Okay, this flower girl dress (I think it’s just a little girl’s dress, but it would make a great flower girl dress) is perfection.
