Here is a bit more eye candy from today’s gorgeous wedding, sent to us by the forever talented Sylvie Gil

I have to say, I am not always a fan of pink and green. It’s pretty, but not always done right. Well, this wedding…was perfection. The greens perfectly compliment the layers of pink hues and pair beautifully with the lace from Desiree’s gown. The palette seems effortless and completely...

Today we are featuring Desiree and Ann’s GORGEOUS Healdsburg wedding. It’s a little bit shabby chic, a little bit French Country, all together completely lovely.

The fabulous Sylvie Gil seems to get really lucky with the clients that she works with…the couples are always lovely and kind, the style is always enviable and the pure beauty of the day always shines through. Perhaps that speaks towards...

Black and White Photography by Andreas, IV

April 6th. 2009 by Abby Larson | 1 comment

The thing about the photographs that Andreas captures is this…they are so alive, so full of emotion, of depth, of unabashed gorgeousness. They are perfect enough to hang on your walls, but soulful enough to bring you  to tears each time you look at them.

What do you love about black and white photography?

When a girl is planning her wedding day, she thinks about themes, colour schemes for florals, invitations and so...

Black and White Photography by Andreas, II

April 6th. 2009 by Abby Larson | 3 comments

Today we are chatting with the unbelievably talented Toronoto based photographer Andreas, who specializes in journalistic style, black and white photography…and does so brilliantly.

Do you have a photographic voice or style? How did that come to be?

I would say that my “style” is based around the idea that the best images of people are taken at the right moment when something wonderful is happening...

Black and White Photography by Andreas

April 6th. 2009 by Abby Larson | 4 comments

On my blog, we are all about full color photography. It’s not that we love the colors more than the black and whites, it’s that the full color images help you to find inspiration and ideas for your own affair. They show off the details better. But in my home…it’s all about black and white photography. The depth, the emotion, the artistic elements.

Well, one of THE most talented photographers in our...

SMP Loves…Whichgoose!

April 6th. 2009 by Abby Larson | 3 comments

And her newest collection of woodland inspired headpieces. They are a little bit much for a traditional bride, but if you are the kind of girl that can wear one of these beauties, you are going to make SMP very, very happy. I completely see a whichgoose crown paired with a soft, simple, flowy bohemian dress Oh, so so pretty!

April 6th. 2009 by Abby Larson | 6 comments

The first person to get the $100 is (with 140 true votes)…DIY Coasters!
