  1. Natalie says:

I am having a dessert reception, but to prime my guests for the awesome indugent feast, I would box and send out cupcakes with each of my save-the-dates to get them in the mood for more "yum"!

  2. Brandi says:

I would use the recipe to honor the women in my life who play an important role not only in helping to make me who I am today, but also in my wedding!

  3. Jessie says:

I would love to treat the wedding party with little treats at the rehersal for all the hard work they've done and will be coming. :)

  4. June2009 says:

I would use the gift certificate and create a custom cake mix to attach to my thank you cards. My fiance and I both LOVE funfetti/confetti cake- the light fluffy cake with fun colorful bits, what is better than that!? - so hopefully we could create a custom mix that would be like our own funfetti! I keep feeling like a regular old thank you note is kinda bland, so I'd love to attach a little cake-mix favor as well!

  5. Holly says:

These are such a great idea!!! I would use these as gifts for my wedding party and a few special people who have helped me plan my wedding! I love the old fashioned flavors!

  6. Michelle says:

I would use these beautiful (and I'm sure tasty) cupcakes as my wedding cake. I want to do the tiered cupcakes, with a small cake at the top for cutting. Wish me luck!

  7. Laura says:

Before you even posted this giveaway, I was thinking that I would order some of these for the ladies luncheon the day before our wedding. I would use the gift certificate for this. And, this cupcake bakery is not too far from where I live. I just found this out today from your posting!

  8. Cammie says:

I would use them as favors for the wedding! They didn't originally make the list due to budget constraints, and this would be such a cute way to say thanks to our guests for sharing in our celebration!

  9. Meghan says:

i would LOVE to use these as the desert centerpieces for my rehearsal dinner! it would be great to have a custom flavor that would represent us to share with our family and friends as a thank you for all of them sharing in our special day!

  10. Michelle says:

Ooh, they look delicious! I am of the belief that there is always an occasion to eat cupcakes, but certainly a wedding is cause for a cupcake celebration!

While I would love to use them as favors at our wedding - or even create a cupcake wedding cake! - I don't think I could wait that long to eat them! So, I would serve them at the upcoming bridal shower!

I know I'm not really supposed to "plan" the shower, but I would suggest that we have a cupcake decorating challenge, and the most deliciously "Michelle- and Steve-like" (that's us - bride and groom!) cupcake would win! :)

  11. KSW says:

Yum. We are doing cupcakes for the wedding, but I'd love to send the guests home with one to snack on at the end of the night!!

  12. Brandi says:

P.S. Those cupcakes look delicious! I am just craving one of those white ones with what looks like cinnamon on the top! *Yummm. . .

  13. Elyse says:

They look delicious. I would use them as favors. I plan to have a cookie/dessert station for guests to pick out a midnight snack to take back to their hotel.

  14. Anita says:

Looks delicious! I would totally give these mixes to my bridesmaids, sister, and sister-in-law as a thank you for being so helpful (because I'm sure they will be very helpful!).

  15. Brittany says:

This is a great idea for favors. It would also be a wonderful way to thank people for their important contributions.

  16. Jessica H says:

Love this! I've had so many amazing people (especially my future husband) supporting me throughout wedding planning that I'd use the mix to bake a special treat for all of them pre-wedding. Nothing says love & thanks like cupcakes :)

  17. Amy says:

I have been on a baking binge lately! I would use it to bake cupcakes for an upcoming bridal shower! They look delicious!

  18. Casey says:

I think they would be the perfect thing for my bridal shower food! We have been thinking of having a dessert shower!

  19. LauraAshley says:

My fiance and I are buying our first house next week. I think I'd use these as a housewarming treat for us and some close friends when we celebrate moving into our new house!

  20. Rachel says:

I would use these cupcakes at my bridal luncheon -- so many of my close friends and family will not be able to make it to my traditional bridal shower (including half of my maids) that we've had to plan a mini-shower the day of the rehearsal as a meet&greet/thank you for your love and years of support. It would be delightful to have an easy dessert ready to doll out, especially something unique for the amazing and unique ladies who will soon be part of our new family!

  21. Irene says:

These would be perfect as thank you gifts for everyone who's been working so hard to pull our wedding together.

  22. Erin says:

I am having my rehearsal dinner, wedding and reception all at the same location. I order to spice up the menu since we're using the same cater throughout the wedding weekend. I would love to use the cupcakes for our rehearsal dinner deserts. I would like to give a little sweet treat to our close friends and family to start off the "sweet" filled weekend.

  23. Christianne says:

I love these! I would absolutely give them as wedding favors. Last year I spent nine months scouring LA for the best cupcake shop for a weekly article I wrote ... so I almost have to have cupcakes at my wedding reception!

  24. Emie says:

Oh I'm in love!!! :) What a fantastic idea! I was just playing around on their site and it's hard to even pick a favorite!
I'd love to gift these at our upcoming 'couple's shower'.
I'd choose vanilla cupcakes with the 'luxe' box design in the grapefruit color!
    Thanks for another fabulous contest!

  25. Lindsay says:

these are so cute, I *LOVE! I wish I could give this to each and every guest at the wedding, but I don't think the budget can swing it. So I would absolutely love to give these to everyone at my shower &/or bachelorette as a thank you for making the trip and spending the day with me. YUM!!! My mouth is watering just reading this blog! Thanks SMP! :)

  26. LeAnna says:

Those look fantastic! I would give them to our guests during our brunch the morning after the wedding as a thank you/parting gift. They are the perfect sweet treat to send home with our guests!

  27. sommer says:

I love baking so it would DEF be part of my shower!

  28. Sonnie says:

What a great concept! I would absolutely use these for favors. Favors are not possible with our current budget, but I would love to be able to give our guests a special, sweet "thank you" if possible!

  29. Meg says:

    My wedding, of course!

  30. Rachelle Gallagher says:

Ohhh my mouth is watering just looking at those. I love the "homemade" feel...adds a personal touch. I'd use these for my upcoming engagement party as all my guests know how big of a sweet tooth I have. It would be a great way to kick-off a year-long planning spree with friends and family!

  31. Natalie says:

I am having cupcakes as my "cake" for the wedding and it would be great to have some homemade to put in the welcome baskets for the guest rooms!

  32. Susan says:

To take the Southern thing one step further - pound cake mix would be perfection! Nothing like an old stand-by!

  33. Erica says:

This would be perfect in our welcome bags, especially the red velvet cupcakes as we are getting married in the South!!! We are trying to have things that are staples in the South since all of our guest will be traveling from the Midwest.

  34. michella says:

to make special sweets for my special friends and family!

  35. Chris says:

The champagne cupcake mix would be perfect to toast the occasion! Best way to celebrate....

  36. Jenny says:

I about died when I saw they have red velvet! perfect for the shower, I have red velvet cake every birthday since I was 6!

  37. Mary Kate Raffetto says:

I would definitely use the gift certificate to get cupcake mix favors for our guests! This is such a cute idea!

  38. Samantha says:

Our theme is "The Sweet Life." How cute would it be to have these out at the morning after brunch for guests to take on their way, with a sign that says:

Our wonderful wedding weekend is over
We do hope that you’re not too hungover

Enjoy your flight back North or West
Having you here has been the best

For traveling so far to witness us marry,
We have packed a sweet treat for you to carry!

  39. Shadi says:

I would borrow from one of the weddings posted by a black book member and serve these before dinner with a note that says something similar to "Life is unpredictable, Eat Dessert
    First".

Who wouldn't want to be greeted with a cupcake first?

  40. Grace says:

Wow! Those look absolutely wonderful!! I would use the gift card for sweet favors for our guests.

  41. Karen says:

I'm hungry just looking at them!! I think this is such a sweet idea! (pardon the pun ;-) ) I'd love to give them as special thank you's at my rehearsal. Instead of the traditional rehearsal dinner, my family is hosting a picnic at our house (my future mother-in-law is co-hosting with my mom). It's going to be so much more special to me than a formal dinner would and I would love to show my appreciation for the people who have helped pull it all together with such a warm "thank you!" What could be a warmer "thank you!"

  42. Julia says:

I would make favours for my guests. I plan on baking a big dessert buffet and these would be great!

  43. Sara says:

We love to cook. And so food is a big part of our wedding weekend, from a grilled seafood rehearsal dinner to a four course all veggie meal at the wedding reception. One of the things I'm most looking forward to however, is the dessert and jazz cocktail hour we're throwing for our friends the night before the wedding. I know I'll spend a large part of my wedding day greeting extended relatives, my parent’s friends, his parent’s friends, etc., and I really wanted to spend some quality time with our friends who will be coming into town for the weekend from some two dozen states! I've been playing around with the menu and I would LOVE to design a special cupcake that reflects how much I appreciate all of our dear friends, whether they live far and near!

  44. Heather says:

Oh how I love this giveaway, there is always a moment to indulge in delicious cupcakes! While I want to say I would use these as bridesmaid gifts, the truth is I cant be that mean of a friend and hold out cupcakes for my girls until the wedding. So I would use this giveaway to make delicious cupcakes not for my bridal shower, but for my best friends who I am the MOH for. We have the same bridemaids for our wedding, so that way all of the girls get a sweet treat for all they are doing for us. Thanks for the giveaway, my fingers are crossed!

  45. Andrea says:

    Awesomely sweet shower invitations!

  46. Katrina says:

My fiance and I are having an old fashioned, do-it-yourself summer wedding on the farm I grew up on, so what better way to kick-off our our homemade celebration that to present our bridal party with mixes for these tasty treats at our rehearsal dinner. I MUST have them ;)

  47. Shelley says:

I would use it to buy custom mixes for all the people who helped out who are not in the wedding party, like my mom, my gramma, mother-in-law, sister-in-law and family friends as a way to say THANK YOU!!

  48. Janelle says:

Centerpieces! We are having a sweet treats/old fashioned sweet shoppe theme for our June wedding and our centerpieces are going to be "cupcake kits" complete with spatula, mix, frosting and cupcake liners! We've even used cupcakes on our save-the-dates, invitations and a giant, over-sized one as our wedding cake!

  49. chris says:

The cupcakes look real good. We are making our favors and were thinking cookies, but cupcakes would be so much better. more of a chance to tie in our colors.

  50. Lynsey says:

I would love to use them for our favors!

  51. Kalyn says:

Wow! This is an awesome idea! The red velvet cupcakes look mouth-watering, and would make perfect gifts for our rehearsal dinner guests. I currently live in South Carolina, and my fiance's family and half of my family will be coming from California. Red velvet is definitely a Southern thing (and one of my faves!) and I think it would be a great way to welcome them to my current hometown!

  52. Mary says:

We're having a country wedding in a barn and felt that cupcakes would fit the style a little bit better and our budget as well. So, I would use it to get mixes for our cupcakes. The champagne cupcakes sound so good! We'd probably choose those! Thanks!

  53. Kellie says:

My fiance and I are getting married in two months. We are over our initial budget, and in the middle of home renovations, so we were going to skip favors. I would absolutely love to be able to present these delicious treats as favors to our family and friends on the wedding day :-)

  54. Leah says:

My wedding was last month, but I'm still looking for unique ways to say "thank you" to all of my awesome vendors. Wouldn't my photographer love to get these beautiful cupcakes as a surprise thank you!!

  55. Jessica says:

I absolutely love cupcakes, so this sweet treat is right up my alley! I would give our guests a "sampler" of mini versions of each variety. We have a few cupcake shops where I live and I know that fresh, natural ingredients really do make a huge difference in taste. Yum!

Heck, I could go for a couple (dozen) right now.

  56. Mariel says:

So cute! Would use them as a gift for my maids!

  57. sarah d. says:

I would love to serve cupcakes at my best friend's bridal luncheon. Her fiance proposed at a cupcakery with a sign asking "Nichole, you sweet thing! Will you marry me?" so it is a must that cupcakes be provided at this event! I have been dabbling in cupcake baking but don't feel quite ready to make them for this event myself...maybe someday :)

  58. Amelia says:

Everyone knows how much my fiance and I love cupcakes. The box mixes would be a fabulous favor idea to celebrate one of our favorite desserts!

  59. Erin says:

I was thinking just this morning that I'd love to give our guests some sort of an edible favor, and make a charitable contribution to our local food bank. These would be perfect (and the boxes are large enough to include a note!).

  60. Carly says:

I still haven't found gifts for my bridesmaids!! These would be perfect!!!

  61. Jus says:

I've already been a bride, but if I was doing it all over again I think I might either put one on each guests plate just before we go out into the reception. I think it is nice to have a sweet treat before the main course! Or, during cocktail hour I would probably have the staff hand them out to my guests. I think it would be great to see the images of my guest enjoying a scrumptious treat.

  62. Dortresia J says:

I would love to use these for my guest at the reception.I'm having a dessert bar full of different desserts and this would top the cake, lol.

I would definitely spend it all on the cobbler! How cute would it be to have tons of mini cobblers with ice cream instead of cake at my reception... I love it!

  69. Ally says:

I would like to use it for a kid's table we're planning. We are having 1-2 tables decorated in "All things kids" with big lolly pops, special chair covers & table covers, a special menu, and I'd love to do kids-only cupcakes in awesome colors and designs!

  72. Jo says:

I would use this as a treat for my wonderful bridesmaids! We all love cupcakes and coming up with our own custom flavor would be so much fun!

  73. Maryah says:

I would use the gift certificate to purchase mixes to make a variety of custom flavored cupcakes! Then I would get a bunch of colored chinese take out boxes and tie them with a beautiful cream ribbon and a sticker with a fun caption and give them out as thank you gifts at the end of the night! How fun!

  74. Jen K. says:

I would love using this treat for my wonderful bridesmaids and shower hostesses! Another idea that I would love would be to treat the groomsman and my handsome groom to some yummy cupcakes while they are hanging out before the wedding!

  75. alli c. says:

These look so tasty! I would definitely use these as wedding favors. My guests will be traveling everywhere from down the street to across the country- this custom cupcake mix would be a perfect, easy-to-pack favor!

  77. Dallons girl says:

OMG I LOVE cake! It would be great to have some for my bachelorette party.

  78. Meredith says:

I love these little cupcakes, they're look scrumptious! I would give the packets to my fiance to make for his groomsmen. I'm hosting a bridesmaid's luncheon the day before the wedding, and he thought that it was such a good idea that he's hosting a groomsmen's brunch as well! And since my fiance is an awesome cook, and all men love sweets, this would be absolutely perfect! And if there's any left over for me, well then, I'd just have to make sure that it won't go to waste!

  79. I linked to your contest on my blog, which is all about the art of the thank-you note: http://thankfullysimple.blogspot.com/2009/04/sugar-and-spice-thank-yous.html

  80. Joyce says:

I have such a sweet tooth. I'm tempted to keep them all to myself. But if I have to share, I'd share them with my nearest and dearest at my secret after-after-party.

  81. Mollie D says:

Share? No way! I'd binge on them with my hubby (after the wedding) After dieting for a year, these look delicious!!

I would deliver the delicious goodies to all my vendors a week or two before my big day--close enough to be remembered, far enough away to earn us a bit more special attention :)

  85. alison says:

  86. Erin says:

I would love to have these tasty treats to give as special gifts for my bridal party and other wedding "helpers"!

  90. Jennifer J says:

I would like to use the gift certificate to design a custom cake mix to use as favors for our guests. My fiance and I both like spiced sweets, so I would try to create a cinnamon-y Snickerdoodle flavor, a mexican chocolate cake with a hint of chili powder, or a chai-spice flavor.

  93. Oh my goodness, the buttercream frosting on those cupcakes looks amazing! My fiancee and I had our first date over cupcakes. 98. Marie says:

    Life is made for dessert.

I'd use them in our wedding as a late night snack, just as the guests need a sugar rush to dance to "Love Shack!"

Just like shoes...cupcakse make people happy!

  108. loren says:

OH.MY.GOD. I am known as the "cupcake diva" and "cupcake queenie" in my family. I would love to make favors of these to pass to the women with the sweet tooths (ahem, wouldn't that be ALL women?) in my family. I am having a family-only wedding and everyone is expecting great cupcakes as they are my favorite to make, eat and share. Food makes my family go 'round so I know this would be appreciated.

  109. Sarah says:

These cupcakes are beautiful! If I won the gift certificate I would gift them to my bridesmaids! They have been amazing! I am having two showers - one in Southern California, where I now live, and one in Northern, where I am from. They have been so helpful and will not let me or my family help in any way. I know it's difficult in these economic times and I would love to spoil them with these fabulous treats. I know it would make them smile.

I would use these decadent looking cupcakes toward my dessert table. I would want to customize the flavor to accompany my "Roaring 20's/ Speakeasy" styled reception. Maybe a 'Mint Julip' flavored cupcake...or one with a 'Nut Loaf' recipe. Oh, it would be ritzy to see these flavors brough to life! : )

  121. Michelle L says:

  124. Brianne B. says:

Food as presents?? That is ALWAYS the best idea. Especially in my family. I would LOVE to give my family a little something for all their help with my economy-friendly budget. My aunts spent so much time and effort making me the best wedding favors: coasters from the DIY contest on SMP!! They deserve so much thanks and I appreciate what they have done so much! And my parents and fiance's parents have been great resources for so many little things. What an awesome giveaway!!

this is awesome!! I am having a whole room (including nannies) for all the kids at our wedding and we plan to vamp it up with color, sweets and fun toys, games, and films. These would be perfect for them and their tablescape! Great giveaway!! thanks!

  126. Michelle says:

Ok, this isn't really wedding related, but I would order them for my coworkers to liven up our spirits after a lot of people were laid off this week.

  127. Chels says:

I have created my own label about 20 times through their site, without ever checking out. I want so bad to give the red velvet cake mix to our special guests in their hotel rooms (we are having a fabulous red velvet wedding cake) but we just can't afford it. No matter how many times I tell myself we can't afford it, I just keep going back to look at them!
$100 would be a dreamc ome true!

  128. Kate says:

Cupcakes are the most fun and child-like treat EVER which is why I love them so much! I would use these gorgeous specimans in place of wedding cake for my guests and serve them on covered glass cake plates, just like a magical, fairytale bakery!

  129. Alexis says:

I am a cupcake fanatic (my fiance proposed via cupcakes that read "will you marry me"). I would use the gift certificate towards cupcake favors at the wedding.

Cupcake favors would be perfect for our wedding.

  133. Jayn says:

Favors! I would love to make the "potted cupcakes" I saw on Style Me Pretty as wedding favors. This mix would simplify that process, and make it even more fun. And the mix sounds delicious!

  134. Amanda W says:

We're doing a dessert buffet, so these would fit right in, and be one less thing for us to bake ourselves the night before!

    YUMMM!

I would definitely use these for the wedding party, esp the six cute kids that will make our day so special.

  142. Jessica says:

Gifts for everyone, because cupcakes are awesome.

  143. pei says:

I would use them as gifts to my friends for working together to create a 2-day bachelorette celebration for me! I'm the first of a group of 15 of us to get married and they've gone above and beyond what I ever expected and I think that these would be that perfect something special to give in recognition of their effort.

  144. victorialee says:

    oh these look delish!
i'd love to have a special cupcake display as wedding favors.
Set them up on a table with little boxes as take home favors - a cupcake bar instead of a candy bar!

  145. Jenny says:

We would use the yummy favors as gifts for our wedding party. We have friends traveling from all over the states and across the country, and it would be a great special gift favor for our wedding party welcome baskets;D

I'd love to use these as favors- Christmas cookie mix for my winter wedding maybe?

  147. Nicole says:

I would definitely use them as wedding favors since they are not in the budget! I would definitely get red velvet cupcake mix which reminds us of my fiance's grandmother and this was one of her many specialties after sweet potato pie. I could only wish these were half as good!!

  148. Alina says:

We are having a DESTINATION wedding of 100 guests and really wanted to give boxed cupcakes as our wedding favors, but because of the difficulty in traveling with food, we decided it would be impossible. These cupcake mix favors gift-wrapped in pretty labeled boxes would be a {PERFECT!} solution! Its original, fun, unique, and we love that they have red velvet, our absolute favorite, - with the highest quality ingredients, no less! Please pick us and allow us to share such a wonderful gift with our guests!!!

  149. Daphne says:

Yummmm! I can already taste our "Rees"es pieces peanut butter cookie favors. My grandma's favorite with play on my fiance's last name. Bet the taste will be even better than the pun :)

I would love to serve these at my shower. Or give them as treats for the kids at my wedding.

  156. Amanda says:

I would use it for a friend's retirement party. I'm in charge of dessert, and it's going to be a fancy menu. These would be a delicious accompaniment. Love them.

  157. ErinS says:

I would include these in the welcome bags for our out-of-town guests. I'm also having a rehearsal brunch the day of rather than a rehearsal dinner, and I think having a sweet treat in the morning would be great!

  158. I have a new grandson (my first!) coming in May and I would use these delicious treats as a very unique and yummy birth announcement! What a way to celebrate mother's day...

  159. Stefanie says:

I would send these cupcake mix favors as "Thank You" presents for all the out of town guests (a lot) that send cards and presents but wasn't able to travel to the wedding. A little way of telling them they were missed and are loved.

  160. Rachael Anne says:

Quite simply, I'd eat them! I love cupcakes. This holds so true that my fiancee's nickname for me is "Cakes." However, I'd share them with those at our rehearsal dinner. Who cares that there will be Wedding and Groom's Cake the next day? One can never have too much.

  161. Tiffany Ann B. says:

We would serve these at the reception along with the cake and ice cream as a late night snack to keep the party going!

  162. Rebekah R. says:

I would so use the gift certificate for my wedding cake. I've got a budget of about zip and this would be such a life saver!!

  163. Susan says:

I would serve these at our rehearsal dinner for our dearest family and friends!

  164. Lauren G says:

I would love to share these yummy treats with all of my super sweet bridesmaids. In an effort to spoil my best friends and family members, it would be great incorporate some tasty cupcakes into a day of papering before the wedding.

  165. Alexandria says:

{ mmmmmm! } I would serve these cupcake beauties at my upcoming bridal shower. Without a doubt, I would not be able to wait until the wedding ( although using these yummy treats as favors would be terrific as well.) Since my family is from Mexico and my fiancee is Colombian, I would love to do flavors like Mexican hot chocolate and Colombian cofee bean. I would either display these treats on cake stands of varying heights or box them individually and tie them with flowing ribbon in my wedding colors- burnt orange and lime green! A $100 certificate would be a dream!

  166. catherine says:

I would use the gift certificate to thank our friends and family who put time and energy in the preparation of our wedding. We are very lucky to have a lot of people that want to help and be a part of our special day.

  167. cara says:

I would totally serve these as thank you gifts for all our friends and family!!

  168. lauren f says:

I'd love to serve cupcakes of the same flavor as the wedding cake at the reception dinner. a little preview if you will! (plus who would EVER turn down buttercream?!)

  169. Morgan says:

I would use the gift certificate to treat my sweet friends who have worked alongside me to make this day so special! :)

  170. eryn says:

    I would...hmmm...

I would use them in "Rocket & Stars Sweet Shoppe" its our candy-dessert buffet area named after our dog and cat....

    =)

    They certainly would approve!

  171. Michonne says:

Such a great idea! I have been thinking something like this would be fun.... how incredibly fun and fitting for each of our special events because we each really want the day to stand out and be one of a kind!

  172. Elizabeth says:

Yum! I'd bake lots of mini cupcakes to have around the bridal suite the morning/day of the wedding. My girls are all traveling so far to be with me, and we will have so many people in and out of the suite all day, from photographers, to videographers, to hair & makeup stylists, to friends and family - it would be wonderful to have little treats for people!

  173. Kristal says:

I would definitely use these cupcakes as my favor. What better way to say thank you than with a cupcake! It makes a perfect favor for guest to take back home with them and a delectable way to remember the bride and groom.

  174. Melissa says:

I would use it for a custom flavor and give them away in my out of town gift bags that we will be placing in each of our guests hotel rooms. I LOVE and I mean LOVE and have a cupcake obsession and having our own flavor would combine both of our tastes. This would truly add a personalized touch to our bags. I would place them in the brown kraft boxes with bakers twine and add a label with our monogram and some saying related to travel. Our invites were sent in brown boxes not envelopes and had a cut out of our monogram in addition we are incorporating a travel theme to our wedding hence the travel quote on each of the cupcake boxes I would love to have and tie everything together :) YUMMMYYYY

  175. Katrina Duarte says:

To be honest my wedding is not for over a year, and I really don't think I could resist using it for that long. This summer I am leaving for China for six weeks to take a couple of summer courses. My soon to be hubby has to work and cannot tag-a-long. I have been trying to think of something I could order for him to arrive a couple of days after I leave. He has a super sweet tooth and these would be perfect. Plus when he loves them, which I am sure he will, we would probably end up buying them for the wedding anyway =]

  176. holly p says:

I'd use them for our out of town bags! Who wouldn't want to get to there hotel room and find cupcakes waiting for them?

  177. Heather says:

Red velvet mix for favors! Love it. :)

  178. Leika says:

How absolutely lovely! I'd either use them in the gift baskets for my BMs, or in the OOT bags.

  179. Khanh says:

I am soooo in love with cupcakes and these look delicious! I would love to give these as a sweet treat to my lovely bridesmaids in their Paris totes, along with a cute coach wristlet, a pashmina to keep them warm, and sandals to dance the night away.

  180. Lindssay says:

OMG how cute are these!! I wouldn't know where to start! Everything looks so amazing. I think I would have to use it towards the favors for the bridal tea I will be hosting for all the special women that have helped me with the wedding. Everything is soo cute and looks soo yummy... its definitely a gift to be shared.

  181. Elena says:

This would be fabulous for our wedding favors!! Our theme is Love is Sweet. We are not having wedding cake but we are having cheesecake. This would fit with our theme of sweets. We have not bought any favors yet and I am trying to get creative since we are on a budget. This would be too perfect. : ) I love sweets and so does the rest of my family.

  182. Ivy says:

We are hoping to have cupcakes act as the grooms cake at the reception. we are searching for the perfect recipe since we plan on making them on our own. this mix would be perfect! and we have a better chance of not turing our homemade cupckae dreams into a disaster!

  183. Janet Marino says:

I'd have these at my house as snacks where we're meeting for dinner before going out for my bachelorette party!

  184. Jessica says:

We are having a family reunion soon (HUGE family, 150 people coming) and I would love to have these to contribute to those around us! I was planning on putting little gable boxes together with some goodies from San Diego for our closer family (about 45 people) with hand made cards, locally brewed beer, sand :), etc. and these cupcakes would be an amazing addition and save me the time of making them myself! they always tasted better when someone else makes them!

  185. Nichole Imperial says:

How yummy!!! I would use this towards little treats for my guests at my wedding rehearsal dinner to put on their place-setting. I have quite a few guests since my bridal party is large as well as many out-of-town guests. The more the merrier I keep telling myself. I want to really thank these special people in a special way. The sweetest gesture is a sweet gesture! ;)

  186. Patty says:

Cupcakes are so fun and sweet. I am planning to throw a shindig at our place after the wedding/honeymoon. I would use these as housewarming party favors for our guests to take home, since they are such a special part of our lives.

  187. Kim says:

Our wedding theme is cupcakes, so these would be PERFECT favors! The boxes are gorgeous and it really does tie right in with everything else we are doing :)

  188. paquia wilson says:

i would use the gift certificate for day of ceremony gifts for my attendants. anyone who know me recognizes my passion for baking sweet treats. this would allow meto give them a bit of normalmelove (its a inside thing) lol without stressing myself b efore the nups.

  189. Katie says:

These would make fantastic favors for my nearest and dearest and our rehearsal dinner!!

  190. When there is cake in the house (and lately there has been a lot of it as I've been practicing a DIY cake in honor of my late, cake-baking grandmother,) I like to eat a piece for breakfast. I figure it's not any worse than some of the pastries people eat. Anyway, I think it would be fun to have a cupcake and coffee breakfast the day after the wedding. I think if people tried it, they'd love it!

  191. Stephanie says:

These are so cute! I would definitely use these as favors for a shower or the reception. I have a friend having a baby soon and might even use these for baby shower favors!

  192. Jen says:

I would definitely make a little plate of cupcakes for the guys getting ready room. My fiance always forgets to eat when he gets busy, and on our wedding day, he had better be eating. Leaving tempting little goodies in easy to reach places will ensure that we don't have a grouchy groom!

  193. Laura says:

I would use these for the little ones at our celebration

  194. Annette says:

These are the cutest things, who doesnt love a cupcake. Love to win.

  195. Katie says:

I think I would have a little party...for myself and eat them all!! Well, great baked goods are a great reason to throw a party...maybe I'll just put that on the invitations ;) "You're invited to a party becuase i have some awesome cupcakes to give you!"

    Yum.

  196. Stefanie says:

Cupcake tower! Definitely a cupcake tower! I find them less stuffy, more inviting, and much more whimsical and a traditional wedding cake. And these are so gorgeous that we wouldn't have to sacrifice on style! Lovely.

  197. Lissy says:

Definitely for favors. Everyone keeps saying to pick something edible! lol

  198. mj says:

My fiance's family are freaks for cake. We often spend a long weekend on the Cape in the summer - aunts, cousins, grammy, etc., and rarely is there a morning that breakfast doesn't consist of cake. Our wedding is a bit of a destination - northern VT - and I would love to put cupcakes in each of the cabins reserved for his family.

  199. Jennifer says:

OMGosh! The military couple I am helping plan a wedding would LOVE THIS! The both love baked sweets and these are darling! This is a fabulous idea and with my 18 y/o going to culinary school for patisserie and baking, he can help me DIY this!! Thanks for posting!

  200. Missy says:

I would use the gift certificate for favors because there is nothing better than sweets for a gift. I mean really, I could care less about any favor other than something to eat. :)

  201. Elizabeth says:

For my immediate family and their spouses and kids(27+) for putting up with me!

  202. Mary says:

I would bake them for the people who save my tail along the way! Who make me laugh, do something so thoughtful it takes my breath away, who go above and beyond you share this joyful time with us. Be it a vendor, old friend, grandmother, they deserve our appreciation-- and what better way than cupcakes. Would top them off with some great sprinkles!

  203. Jessica D. says:

I would use the GC to create customized cupcakes for my vendors. My vendors have been the most wonderful part of the whole wedding planning process and I think it would be wonderful to recognize their hard work by giving them something sweet. My wedding planner and caterer are so dedicated and brilliant, it would be ashame to not recognize them in some way. The 3 of us have had the "cupcake vs cake discussion" several times and each time we end up going on and on about our favorite types of cupcakes (it's become a running joke). This would be perfect for me to share with them and their amazing staff who have made planning a wedding a breeze (and fun!).

  204. Cristi says:

I am a professional cook and am planning to cater my engagement party this summer. Crazy and fun all at once. My theme is gourmet comfort food and I am planning to have stations with dozens of cocktail-sized choices. For dessert, I'm doing cupcakes in mason jars: a layer of preserves, a cupcake, whipped frosting. This would make my guests' takeaway even sweeter!

  205. Nicole says:

Oh my goodness, these cupcakes look absolutely divine! I'm interested in having a dessert table at my wedding with a rustic vibe. Around the center cake, I would love to organize some cupcakes vanilla cupcakes on cross cut wooden plagues, surrounded by moss. I think it would look beautiful, green, organic, and oh so tasty!

  206. Aimee H says:

I would make cupcakes as a lovely accompaniment to my ice cream cake!

  207. brandi says:

I would LOVE to be able to give gifts to my vendors, as well as the friends how are helping us set up our DIY event. This would be PERFECT! Chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate!

  208. Tammy says:

Oh so tempting. I'd love to use these as gifts for all who are assisting with planning the wedding.

  209. Kelsey says:

Yum!! Cupcakes! These would be great for a thank you gift.

  210. Stevie says:

I think it would an interesting addition for a wedding reception. Rather than have a bunch of flowers or some other type of centerpiece, the cupcakes could be neatly arranged on a tiered rack to provide an amazingly delicious, edible decoration!

  211. Jackie says:

I am in love with these cupcakes & their site! What a great idea. I also love the really unique holders their treats come in. I would either love to treat my wedding party or the kids I coach in the summer. They're pretty little & I'm sure they'd gobble up as many as I could bake or buy!

  212. Daniela says:

I would definitely use this to make my Fiance's groom's cake/cupcake! It would be a total surprise and since we both love cupcakes, it's the perfect way to do something special for him!

  213. Wuilmark says:

Those cupcakes are great sweet treats for everyone...
My fiance and I would use this idea for our rehearsal dinner...

  214. Andrea says:

I would love to be able to bake german chocolate cupcakes for my groom. That is his favorite kind of cake and I think it would be a cool alternative to a groom's cake. To bake them myself would be a special way to say that this wedding was planned with him in mind. I really want him to have fun and feel honored because weddings are sooooo not his thing.

  215. Leslie G. says:

I would definitely use these as part of my bridesmaid gifts. I am creating totes full of the daily necessities, as well as hand-made jewelry, so a sweet treat for after the wedding would be icing on the cake, so to speak!

  216. Marion says:

I would use them for the rehearsal dinner desserts.

  217. Jen says:

I will dress up as a cupcake, and hold up a cheeky sign that says "Eat Me!" I'll send out these silly pics along with my bridal shower invites. And then we chow down with cupcakes and tea! =)

  218. Vanessa says:

Those cupcakes look absolutely scrumptious! I would totally use this gift certificate to use towards favors for our guests. We're already serving cupcakes as dessert at our wedding and I think giving them a mix of their own to bring home would be a fantastic way to remember the love that was shared over cupcakes on our special day!

  219. Rachel says:

This would be so fantastic to include in our welcome bags! Our wedding will be at a B&B and this would just fit in perfectly!

  220. Lauren says:

I would use them as thank yous for my family and friends that host bridal showers, etc. and for my wedding party as thank yous. I loooove sweets so it would be perfect!

  221. Jessica says:

Love, love, love cupcakes! I would use these beautiful treats at my wedding shower to share with ladies because they can appreciate them more than men!

  222. Lacy says:

Would love to create a gluten free cupcake mix as I am Celiac and it is not often you come across yummy gluten free baking! I would use the mix to bake some cupcakes for our get together in our new home after the wedding with all of the guests who were unable to attend our destination wedding so that they would feel special too!

  223. Tisa says:

I would use these for an afternoon tea with my all the ladies I love! Great giveaway by the way!

  224. Elizabeth says:

So adorable! And I can almost taste the yumminess. :)
We would probably use these as delicious wedding favors for guests to enjoy!

  225. Catherine says:

Looks so yummy! I would just love to have something like that for the wedding party and other family and friends that are a part of the ceremony to let them know it was so "sweet" of them to be a part of our big day!

  226. nicole says:

I would use them for my bridal shower

  227. ChrisQ says:

I think the champagne cupcake mix is really unique would be a great thank you gift to everyone at the rehearsal dinner...what a great way to keep up the celebration once everyone goes home.

  228. lizzy says:

yum yum! we would use these as a sweet treat to give to out of town-ers when they check in at the hotel. What a delicious way to start the weekend!

  229. Chrissi says:

What a great idea--I would give these at the rehearsal dinner guests as a thank you for their time and commitment to helping us with our big day.

  230. Mary says:

We would use them as a special treat for our families at our day after brunch--my parents our hosting us and close family/friends...I would love to give out sweet treats with a note about 'how sweet it is to be loved by you...' thanks for celebrating :)

  231. Antoinette says:

I would use the gift certificate to spoil my guests with a little "sweet" surprise as the leave my reception.

  232. charis says:

First! I love icing. And Chad and I both have HUGE sweet tooths--teeth? It would be so fun to give our guests something that would represent the two of us! These are perfect!

  233. Kate says:

We are going to be having a "frost your own cupcake" station for kids at our wedding. We could be having as many as 15-18 kids 10 and under and wanted fun and special activites just for them (at first...keep reading). Plus- as soon as they hear "carrot" we think that they will not be as excited about the "cake" part. However, this just sounds like too much fun to not include enough for adults too...after all, who doesn't want to be a kid again once and while?

  234. Paula says:

I will use them as favors - the sweets, decadence the day of the wedding the better. They will be perfect!

  235. Melanie says:

I am having my wedding Thanksgiving weekend, but the night of thanksgiving we are having a Bachelor/Bachelorette/Thanksgiving party! I would love to use the customized mix for delicious treats for my guest! What better way to show them how thankful I am for them, than by a delicious sweet treat =)

  236. parker says:

We are doing a dessert reception the night before the wedding on a boat with all our guests. This would be the perfect addition to our July 4th celebrations!! The look really delicious!

  237. Angela says:

I would use them to give to my bridesmaids who are all going above and beyond helping me plan my wedding. Since four of them are actually where my wedding is going to be while I am out of state, I love all the help they have been giving me. I am an avid baker so it would remind them of how much they love me : )

  238. Kristin Jensen says:

I plan on having a small wedding, so I'd do cupcakes instead of cake! I absolutely love red velvet. I like the idea of having people choose their seat by choosing their cupcake (like is done at some Amish restaurants with pie, where there's a slice of pie already on each plate and you sit down in front of the pie you want) and have different colored frosting, sprinkles, types of cake, etc.

  239. Vanessa says:

I'm planning on having cupcakes at my wedding and love the idea of getting the mini cupcakes for the all the kids that are going to join us for our wedding in Santa Fe.

  240. Jess says:

I would definitely use these as part of our dessert table at our wedding reception!

  241. Kerri says:

My fiance and I love cupcakes! It would so much fun to give these favors to our guests as they truly represent us as a couple. I also just love the cute packaging. So cute!

  242. EmilyF says:

We're having cupcakes in lieu of wedding cake as we both hate wedding cake filling, but LOVE to walk down to our local bakery and indulge in a cupcake or two....or four on the weekends! We'd love to give these mixes away at our wedding!

  243. Hady says:

Your cupcakes look devine! I would use the gift certificate to purchase cupcakes for my dad's formal retirement party that we're having 3 weeks after our wedding. My parents have done so much for us, these cupcakes would be a perfect "congratulations and thank you for everything" gift!

  244. Bride2009 says:

Cupcakes are so in vogue right now, but they can be hard to display in an elegant way. I just wanted to share a find: the Crystal Palace Cupcake Tree (crystalpalacecupcaketree.com). It's gorgeous clear acrylic, so all the attention is on your beautiful cupcakes. It's the only one out there like it.

  245. womenofgod says:

Umm i think this is great actually one of my beautiful visions for the wedding is to have a banquet of beautiful desserts, bring back the kid in everyone but in a more classy and beautiful way... So i would def use that gift certificate towards part of "my dream"...
