i don't think the prices are bad at all. You may be able to find a few simple trims but not ones of this calliber at your local fabric store. Most of the ones I have been able to find look rather cheap. A dollar an ich - where do you live !!!??? I can't imagine what those must look like.
Check out the Monique Lhuillier sashes made from the same trims - they are Thousands of Dollars. I was very pleased with the sash I purchased. Same look for a much better price. My custom sash was easily ordered and beautiful.
