Just spotted these ridiculously awesome shots over on Duston Todd’s blog. Ummm, a baby pool? How great is that! They get a little saucy in the pool too, which is kind of cute.

I am totally smitten with Duston Todd and his playful, but absolutely gorgeous photography. Definitely check out his blog for some serious eye candy!
What I love about this next set is more than just the photography, which is obviously gorgeous as it was shot by the genius that is Brian and Stella Alesi. But, it’s the concept behind the shoot that really makes me happy. As huge fans of Austin’s live music scene, the couple had their photo shoot at some of their favorite hang outs, the rock n roll spots that hold their fondest memories…

Bottom line to a great engagement shoot? Let your personalities shine through. Whether it’s splashing around in a baby pool, blowing bubbles in a great field or hanging out at your favorite bar…let who you are as a couple come through your photographs and they will forever be something that you treasure.
Not sure when this whole serious standing up side by side pose came into fashion, but I like it.
I LOVE the kiddie pool... these are great
love the images with kiddie pool, gorgeous!
I love a fun and flirty e-photo session!
That first shot reminds me of the farmer and his wife (you know what I'm talking about?). And the second one is super steamy!!!
I love the 3rd shot!! (sprinkler)
the first couple...so adorable. These shots are so awesome and so different, it is so unique-i would love to do something like this for my own engangment portraits.

thanks to all the many compliments to my work! this was such an incredibly fun shoot and really "captures" (hate cliches) the personality of the couple. fun, sexy, down-to-earth, and totally different...all a recipe for a stunning portrait session.
some of you have mentioned wanting to do a unique shoot like this...whats stopping you?
give me a call or drop me a line!

I love the urban backdrop on the second couple. Ok, I know them and they are awesome. The photography really captures what they're all about.
I love the red background and hammer and sickle on the second couple. They look great!
