I have to admit, I have a bit of a girl crush on today’s bride. She is not only drop dead gorgeous, she has a style that is one part glam, one part sweet and sophisticated. A perfect combination. Plus, the affair took place in the beautiful Australia, a place that I am becoming more and more obsessed with as I start to see so much Aussie style and innovation in the weddings that I’ve received….

From Laura, the bride…
It was hard to select my favourite images, and I still can’t stop looking back on the day and enjoying the memories we had. It was a very special time for us, having our families come together and to share love that brought us through some really tough times.Around the time I was born my dad had a horrific motor bike accident which left his leg disabled from bending his knee, and causing alot of pain. 22 years later, with modern medicine and a lengthy process with a wait list, Dad’s operation was scheduled less than 2 weeks before my wedding. However it didn’t stop him from walking me down the aisle. Josh confessed, when he saw me he ‘nearly bawled his eyes’, in response Dad had said ‘Me too.
So much more to come!

Those shoes! Details please...!
I agree! The shoes! AND the bride! And her hair! I can't wait to see more of this wedding!
Agreed! The shoes, the hair! So lux!! Can't wait to see more pics from this wedding...
This bride is GORGEOUS! She looks like Megan Fox.
Laura- thank you for sharing images from your special day! You were gorgeous, as was your hubby! Your dress, your hair, the makeup...the shoes! All gorgeous! We have the same style! We even have the same style in perfume :) My fiance bought me my first bottle of Coco Chanel Mademoiselle in our first year of dating (we've been together for 8yrs now!)...I love it- Kudos to your photographer as well- all the images are stunning!
I too, would also like to know where you got your shoes from!!! :)
Congrats!
Who makes those shoes???
I hate to be repetitive, but I LOVE those shoes!!!
yep, working on getting the shoe info...bride is in Australia so she might be sleeping or just waking up? No clue what the time difference is.
Love all the details and wondering where the veil is from? And bridesmaid dresses? Absolutely stunning!
Aussie Style is the best in the world. I felt so inadquate most days there. Feature more, more!!!
Oh girls, thankyou for all the lovely comments! And yes Abby, I was asleep, so sorry to keep you in suspense over the shoes. I found them at Zu, and they are still available in Aus! (Maybe you girls can purchase online?)

I can't believe the response on those shoes, and to think that I actually hesitated over them! I think the key to wedding planning is to think abstract and not just wedding shops, mags, etc. Draw inspiration from everywhere!
Tiffany, Josh bought me Chanel Coco Mademoiselle just before we started dating, it is such a special smell that brings back memories and that is why we chose it for the wedding. Now I have another memory to associate with the smell!
The dress is 'Carmen' by Mikaella Bridal. You won't actually believe the trauma I went through with that dress, the shop went bankrupt! I ended up having to alter a size 12 version of my dress, and I am so sorry I don't know the designer of the veil. I designed the bridesmaid dresses and had a dressmaker 'Victoria Jane' make them.

Hi laura, congratulations...what a beautiful wedding! :) Where did you have your wedding? I'm in WA and would like to know which state your vendors are in? :)
hello, I was just wondering also who you had your hair and make up done by? (it looks amazing and my hair is the same length as yours which has caused a few panics) I am also very interested in your BM dress colour- it is the same colour I have been searching for and you said that you self sourced it??
Laura,
Your comment about your dad walking you down the aisle, made me tear up...congratulations...your wedding...simply beautiful!
I adore the shoes you chose, they are so absolutely feminine + sexy!
My vendors were mostly in QLD, we got married at Sanctuary Cove on the Gold Coast. I had Kylie Nolan do my hair and makeup. She does alot of hair/makeup for photoshoots etc. I would suggest looking for artists in that area. I actually found her on myspace - a good network of people out there. And on facebook :)

The dress colour was called 'Pearl', it was icon (the brand I think) chiffon overlay over a icon satin in pearl also. I got it from Spotlight, in Australia.

Thanks again very much, z.
wow so very beautiful! love the purple bridesmaid dresses - gorgeous!!
quick question - is your wedding dress ivory or white?
My dress is ivory!
I adore the shoes!! My dress is also Ivory and when I went on Zu's website the shoes are CHampagne. Did you purchase CHampagne or did the have Ivory in the past?
I can't believe Megan got dropped for Transformers 3! She was so awesome before.
I love Megan Fox, I think she is so hot!
