DIY Favor Boxes

April 23rd. 2009 by Abby Larson | Filed Under | 27 comments

I am so excited about today’s first post. In an effort to bring a splash of style to your wedding, we have recruited the help of our FAVORITE blogger and DIY editor, Kathleen of Twig and Thistle to design some favor packaging that you can literally print on your home computer, fold right up and use to house whatever your favor may be!

DIY favor boxes

All you have to do is download this template and print them on 8.5″  x 11″ card stock (we like the 80lb card stock that Paper Source carries) using a full color printer. You’ll also need an x-acto knife, a bone folder, a ruler and a bit of tape to secure them shut. This project will use up a bit of ink which is where most of your cost is, but if you are having a small-medium sized affair, it’s a no brainer!

Kathleen is going to be sending lots of different colors and styles over the coming weeks. Each one just as cute as the next! They are exclusive to SMP, so we are really excited!

These are adorable!! I'm so using these for our welcome boxes. We're having buckeyes made and I just couldn't find cute boxes for them. Is Kathleen sending anything else that would be in navy by chance?

Could the template be done plain and then just put colored card stock that you like through the printer?
