When I first saw this wedding, it was the ceremony that honestly took my breath away. Something about the simplicity of the style, the perfect silhouette of the bride’s gown, the joy that is radiating from everyone. It’s just pure beauty.

From Carmelita…
It was important to us to represent our cultures (Jewish and Filipino/Irish) in a non-denominational ceremony. Daniel’s father created our chuppah from green bamboo and my mother sewed the fabric for the canopy. We also incorporated the Filipino veil ceremony. (The Irish side was most clearly represented by the variety of whiskey offered at the reception.)
Karen Wise is the genius behind the photographs and she has so much more in store for you guys today. Back in a bit!

Really love her dress and veil combination. I'm looking for something beautiful and simple like this, anyone know who the dress is by? Thanks!
That last picture is just gorgeous! The way he's holding and kissing her hands, and the way she's looking back at him. *Tear*
The ceremony decor is lovely! It frames the couple perfectly.
Alexis took the words out of my mouth! What a great shot... it's so intimate. The veil is gorgeous.
We are doing the Filipino veil ceremony as well; I love it! Where did you get the veil? It's beautiful! Great job with the chuppah and canopy. So serene. Congratualtions!
Hi Jessica,
Carmelita's dress was designed by Selia Yang: www.seliayang.com.
:)
I was hesitant about incorporating traditional Filipino elements into my wedding, but the veil ceremony photograph is so lovely that now I can't imagine my wedding without it. This venue is so stunning, and every detail is just perfection, from the sweet pink boutonnieres to the white crystal chandelier. It literally takes my breath away.
Thanks so much for the info on the dress!! Love it!
The wedding is Carmelita..all the way...by all means.
