Bringing The Outdoors In: Justine and Robert, III

April 16th. 2009 by Eddye | Filed Under | 3 comments

Abby put the SMP spotlight on Little Black Book photographer, Gia Canali, a couple of days ago when she showed you Jessie and Matt’s fantastic wedding. There are seven posts all together, and so many great photos … so if you didn’t see it ~ start {here}. We LOVE Gia’s overall style, her fantastic blog (Pursuing the Picture Perfect Wedding) and various antique/vintage effects used in some of her photos.

Today, we’ve been featuring another of Gia’s great weddings … Justine and Robert’s eco-friendly wedding at Nestldown.

Nestldown coordinator, Brooke Green (how apropos) helped Justine and Robert pull all of the details together beautifully.

from Gia …This is one of the most elegant earthy weddings I’ve photographed – definitely put a little pizazz back in “environmentally conscious” wedding planning … without being pretentious or telling everybody about it.

Gia Canali is based in Los Angeles but if you saw our first post {click}, you’ll know that she’s shot weddings from China to Scotland to Mexico and everywhere in between. Her website and blog are truly great sources for more examples of her fabulous photography and wedding inspiration, as well as a place to find tips on achieving your dream wedding from a highly experienced photographer’s point of view.

Our thanks to Gia, Justine & Robert for sharing this marvelous day with us!

Nestldown is amazing- Brooke is one of the best site managers I have ever met. Only downside? Very, very expensive as far as site fees are concerned. But if you've got the money to make it happen, one of the best locations in the Bay Area.
