Christine, the gorgeous bride, has been sweet enough to share a few of the details from her affair…

From Christine…

What I liked best about the wedding was our ability to bring together different aspects of our life that, on the surface, don’t go together. The vendors (and of course my parents) made it possible for us to juxtapose city and country, formal and personal, classic and modern. Together, we were able to create a rustic luxe feel that was really unique. And Parker J was there to capture it all in a way that no bride and groom deserve.

Swoon.

As for her attire…the dress and amazing wrap are both Monique Lhuillier purchased at Ultimate Bride in Chicago, her shoes (from the first post) are J. Crew. I also wanted to tell you that Christine is an INCREDIBLE invitation designer, owner of Cevd. Take a peek at some of her beautiful work…

For me, Christine’s custom invitation collection is such a reflection of who she is, as we’ve seen through the eyes of her wedding.  Simple, but absolutely lovely.

I need to know where she got that amazing shrug!

    Lovely couple, lovely stationery!

It's funny how the bride commented on the juxtaposition of styling, because all I could think of after seeing her attire was: This wedding should've been in a historical building!

But after seeing more of the pix, I do like the difference between the luxe vintage look and the rustic, pastoral setting where they had their celebration.

  4. I love the feathered bolero/shrug - awesome!

  5. What an incredible invitation collection! So simple and elegant, and the tiny green tie is the perfect pop of subtle color. That RSVP font makes me swoon!
