Silhouettes by Cut Arts

We have had so many emails about the ridiculously great silhouette artist that was featured in Kisma and John’s real wedding last week, I have decided to let the cat out of the bag! The artist behind this brilliant idea was Karl Johnson of the fabulous Cut Arts.

Karl is a “Master Silhouette Artist” as every silhouette that he creates is cut entirely by hand, whether in person or by a supplied photography. Prices start at about $25 for a 5 x7 seven silhouette crafted from a photograph and go up from there. Karl is also available for hire at your wedding or shower or any other event. I love, love, love this idea and to see him in action at Kisma and John’s wedding was such a treat!

Cut Arts is definitely worth a visit when you have a minute!

   I hired a silhouette artist for my wedding, and it's something that the guests continue to rave about!

   I love the idea of a silhouette artist for weddings! That extra something really gives guests something to talk about and it is a fun keepsake and something people can't get everywhere. Silhouette artists are easier to find than you think too!

   Any idea where to find one? I'm having a hard time here in SF, CA. I know some of them will travel but that has to add to the cost. Any thoughts on how much they cost too?
