Real Wedding: The Details

We featured this wedding in an Inspiration Board format a LONG time ago, but recently, the fabulous photographer, Elizabeth Messina, sent me even more photos from the event and I had to share.

I sometimes sound like a broken record when I say that a wedding really is all in the details. But it’s so true. And there is no one that does details better than Lisa Vorce, the designer behind this ridiculously gorgeous affair…

Have you ever seen anything quite so beautiful? The pretty blue flags blowing in the breeze, the silver mercury balls, the elegant flowers, the everything. Just wait until you see the rest of the day unfold. It’s kind of unbelievable.

While the little details can be nice add-ons, I personally don't believe they "elevate" or make an event. I suppose it's just a matter of taste, really.

Some of the most memorable weddings I've attended had no extra details; just the most important ones: bride & groom, family and friends, and a whole lotta' love!

  2. LOVE those flags! The color and the transparent quality add such an elegant touch. What a beautiful event!

I saw this on Lisa's website and just loved it. To see more photos is so exciting! It's such a beautiful wedding. I'm a complete details maniac but I hate clutter, that's why this wedding is so lovely; the details are understated.

The colours and idea's for the ceremony set up are really wonderful. It looks like it was a very intimate wedding. Nice.

Any idea where I can get some mercury balls like those- they are lovely!

Yikes! ... I lot of these photos look terribly grainy. What a shame, because the wedding was incredibly gorgeous!
