I am a little bit obsessed with this wedding. Actually, I am a little bit obsessed with everything that Lisa Lefkowitz sends me. She is pure talent and because of that, she is lucky enough to book some of the most wonderfully stylish clients. Kim and Alex were married this past August at a private residence in St. Helena.
I know, it’s really hard to imagine having a wedding at a private home, BUT, there are some pretty incredible details that are sure to inspire, no matter where your wedding might be taking place..from the PERFECT flowers to the crystal details, every little bit is delicious.

This was the color palette that I used for my own wedding…chocolate brown bridesmaid dresses paired with blush color flowers and white detailing. It’s just one of those timeless looks that blends well with any surrounding, whether it be a ballroom or a winery. The bridesmaids dresses are the Vineyard Collection from Bella Bridesmaid.
More to come from Lisa Lefkowitz!
The shoes are perfection!
Where are those shoes from?

I love her makeup! It looks so natural and simple but so gorgeous
Beautiful pics. Could you tell me where the earrings are from?
The veil?!! I am in love with the veil, I think I need the veil.....
Hi ladies. Thanks for all your lovely comments on my wedding. I thought I'd take the time to answer some of your questions. The shoes are actually Grazia (a total find and totally not expensive). I got them through the bridal shop where I got my gown in San Francisco. The veil is Toni Federici I want to say. I actually found a lady online from the bay area who can get all kinds of veils and other accessories for about half price. That veil would have cost me $300-$400. The makeup is a fabulous artist also in San Francisco named Jim Avila. he has this great trick where he asks you to come in for a sitting with the hair and makeup that you would have on a normal day and then he works with your own style and jazzes it up. His thought is that you should look like you on your wedding day but the best version of you. He did all my bridesmaids and my mother in law who is quite picky but loved what he did.
Oh yeah, the earrings. Those were my wedding gift from my husband. I found them at a store on Union St. in San Francisco. Here's a tip - Don't bother trying to go cheap and buy something from an online bridal accessory place. I did that and ended sending them all back. They just looked cheap.
Thanks for the info, Kim. Can you provide more details about that online veil shop? I'm desperately in need of a veil! :)
Lovely, lovely wedding! What a sweet combination of high-end elegant and thoughtful DIY details (like the fabulous favors!). Bravo Kim!
If you are up for answering more questions...
what is the name of the roses in your bouquet? they're the perfect shade of pink! and what are the small, dainty white sprays of flowers called? they look baby's-breath-ish but better...
Thanks Kim and congrats!
