I have to say, I am not always a fan of pink and green. It’s pretty, but not always done right. Well, this wedding…was perfection. The greens perfectly compliment the layers of pink hues and pair beautifully with the lace from Desiree’s gown. The palette seems effortless and completely inspired by the natural surroundings.

We wrote our own vows that we repeated back to one another. We also selected readings for our friends and family to recite. We adored our officiant, who made mention of the landmark case in Massachusetts that legalized gay marriage there. We didn’t want our wedding to be political, but we also wanted there to be a recognition of the significance of the moment.
