Hallelujah! I am so glad I dropped in today! Andreas, how refreshing to see a photographer that "embraces his art" and is unabashedly true to his own ideals in pursuit of raw emotion...the stuff that makes the world turn. As a florist I see so many wedding photographers who just pump out the same old thing time and time again. It gets to the point where even I, do not bother posting the images as from wedding to wedding the images are staged the same.Reading this post has renewed my faith that there are artists out there who care....I am a happy florist today :)

The umbrella pic is amazing. It's true, each of these photos makes me feel a little like I know what was going on in that exact moment.

Totally agree with Andreas. Creating art through images requires an artist at work. I don't understand why some photographers brag about how many images they take at an event. It seems to me they must be taking random thoughtless photos instead of thinking about what they are doing and seizing opportunities for the next best image. Who wants a gazillion photos? I just want great, emotionally compelling ones. Well said, Andreas!
