I love watching how a wedding unfolds. From the giddiness of the getting ready shots, to the emotion of the ceremony and the pure joy of the reception. Watching the story of Kisma and Jonathan has been such a delight. Not a fall-off-your-chair excitement, just a really lovely, completely captivating tale. And the team at Docuvitae made the adventure even sweeter…

How much do you love the silhouettes? Kisma and Jonathan actually hired a silhouette artist to come create custom pieces for their guests. Each one is completely unique and a reflection of someone they love. Ahhhh.

Love it. Love it. Love it. Do we know the silhouette artist and does he or she travel? I have been searching for someone for months.
Those silhouettes are an awesome touch!
america has such beautiful venues :)
I would also love to know the name of the silhouette artist!
I don't know who their silhouette artist is but I did just find a lovely woman on etsy.com who I am going to ask to do sihouette portraits of myself and my husband (we're married since nyeve but doing the big wedding in may) & I am going to give them to him as my wedding present to him the night before the wedding! Her name is Jenny Lee Fowler and her etsy listing is her name jennyleefowler. Her work looks lovely & I can't wait to get my portraits...I love the idea of silhouettes of guests though as well:)
The silhouette artist was my husband, Karl Johnson based in the Los Angeles area. His website is cutarts.com.
Glad you're checking this blog out Lauren, your hubby is a great talent and we are still getting raves about him. We've recently bought an old house w/ a parlour room that we've devoted a wall to Karl's work from our wedding., I'll have to send a photo of it to you both.
Thanks again to both of you. Since the wedding we've had three brides for Karl's info.
