I love the invitations! Any idea who did them?

  2. stephanie head says:

Melissa - invitations were designed by my mom and I and printed on wildflower seed paper from the Green Field Paper Company.

  3. Kristi says:

I'm loving the "cheese" cake. Was it just for looks or as an appetizer of sorts?

  4. Christina says:

I love those bags!!!!!!!!!!! Where are they from???

  5. Melissa says:

What is the material you used to tie them together?

  6. stephanie head says:

Kristi - The cheese groom's cake was set on a table during dessert and throughout the rest of the reception. It may have been a good idea to carve into it during the cocktail hour as we had a lot of leftovers.

Christina - the bags were from wildbillshirtcompany.com where he helped design the layout with our tree "logo"

Melissa - the invites were tied together with rafia string from Michael's Crafts. Also found here: http://www.clarionhousecollectibles.com/servlet/the-1083/wraphia-synthetic-raffia-trim/Detail

Melissa - I found this link. This was the inspiration for the invites:

  8. Kelle says:

I love the bags!!! What did you place inside of them?

  9. Melissa says:

Thanks so much what are the BM flowers as well

  10. MidwestElle says:

I love the "cheesecake." I'm definitely adding that to my list!

  11. stephanie head says:

Inside the bags were some of our Cleveland favorites - Great Lakes beer, Malley's chocolates, and Humphrey's popcorn balls. We also had information on the reception shuttle and area hot spots.

Melissa - the BM flowers were orange dahlias with green Hypericum berry accents

  12. Amy says:

Did you create the tree graphic yourself? It is so close to the invites I've been hoping to make myself, I'm just at loss when it comes to obtaining the right graphic! I am also a fellow Buckeye, grew up in Cleveland in fact.

  13. Katie says:

I would love it if you could have your mom send me the template for the invites. I can't seem to find anything like them anywhere. My fiance and I just love them.

  14. Bethany says:

I too would LOVE the template for the invitations if at all possible. I have painted a silhouette of a whimsical bride and groom and I would love to place them under that romantic whimsical tree for my invitations, I haven't seen anything like it. Please please please?

    Christina,

It is getting down to crunch time for finalizing the guest list and having invites printed. We are getting married Sept. 5th and having our reception with all of our friends and our family that joined us for the ceremony on Sept. 26th. Is there anyway your mom and you would send the logos/trees for us to use. If your mom is interested in being recognized I would love to do that on the back of the invite. I have scoured the Internet and have not been able to find any graphic remotely like your trees! Thank you again and I am so glad you decided to share you wedding with us. You had a beautiful affair and are a great inspiration. Thanks again for considering the idea!
