If you are just now joining us, you are in for SUCH a treat. The fabulously talented Meg, designer behind La Partie Events, has created a full day of inspirations and wedding centerpieces for us. Using goods that she found at IKEA (I swear, it’s not IKEA ad, they just happen to have THE best vases at a reasonable price) and flowers she discovered at the LA flower mart, she designed a series of centerpiece ideas that can just as...

This one is a bit more traditional than the last, using flowers that are both feminine and utterly chic at the same time. Paired next to the somewhat casual yellow runner, the result is that perfect combination of timeless and modern. Love.
I am LOVING every little bit of today’s feature. To see similar flowers and similar vessels be used in SO many different ways in incredibly inspiring. Even if you are like me, and aren’t brave enough to craft your own centerpieces, today’s designs are perfect inspiration for you to bring your florist or event planner. Love that.

As a New Yorker I walk by the Ceci Store and dream of the amazing designs behind the beautiful second story storefront. I completely understand your love for their work! Unfortunately because of this crazy economy my wedding has been scaled back and the reality of Ceci invitations is no longer...
A HUGE thank you to Artisan Events for sending us such a charming, totally original affair. It’s completely refreshing to see a wedding that doesn’t take itself too seriously, that is built out of love, celebration and great company. And of course, to Anna and Nicholas, for sharing their lovely day with us!
Remember, when you are planning your own affair…look to places that are a bit off the beaten path.
As a mom, I must tell you that there are simply no words that can even come close to describing the swirling emotions of my daughter’s wedding day. I’m quite sure that Tait’s mother would say the same. There are brief flashes of memories, moments that will live on in my very soul, forever. But had I taken a few moments to sit down with Abby’s videographer on her wedding day, I think that it would have been a tremendous gift for her to hold onto, long after the actual...

I don’t have a ton of details on this gorgeous wedding, but I just had to share it with you guys anyway. For me, it’s the juxtaposition of the bare, industrial space with the chic black bridesmaids dresses and pretty pink flowers that really makes the look work. It’s feminine and masculine, broken down and unbelievably elegant.
Artisan Events is the hugely talented photography studio behind these gorgeous images.
