It looked like old chocolate. Any idea why this happened? I used a 23oz bag of nestle milk chocolate chips with 1 1/2 tablespoons of shortening and made sure to take the chocolate out while there where still some chips unmelted. I am planning on doing them for a wedding in a few months so I really need to figure out how to keep this from happening. I have never drizzled the white chocolate but really like that idea. Do you cover both sides or just one. With sprinkles you can roll the chocolate pretzel and cover but thought here the drizzle will get smeared if I try to do all the way around at once.
