Once again, we are taking a mini-holiday from our DIY contest to let all of you LA area brides out there know about the absolutely fabulous Soolip Wedding Event that is taking place this Sunday, March 29th at Vibiana.

One of our FAVORITE Little Black Book members, Vanilla Bakeshop, is going to be featuring their ridiculously chic cakes and desserts (which is worth the trip in and of itself) along with a number of pretty incredible vendors. We’ve featured past Soolip events on SMP in the past and if this year is anything like the last, you are in for SUCH a treat!

Also in the news, The Dressing Room in St. Petersburg, FL is introducing the entire collection of Simone Carvalli Wedding Gowns tomorrow and Saturday, March 27th and 28th. The collection has been featured in InStyle Weddings, Martha Stewart Weddings and The Knot…and in a word, it’s gorgeous.
You can preview the collection both days from 11AM – 7 PM, though appointments are preferred. Located at 2430 Central Avenue in St. Petersburg, The Dressing Room is a FABULOUS shop for high end, ridiculously beautiful gowns. We can't figure it out! I am so sorry! It looks like a vera to me but it might not be. I am going to keep digging around, as we know that it was shot last year so maybe 2-4 seasons ago.
I know this comment is really late but the dress is by Carolina Herrara. The collection escapes me but it may be Spring 2008.
