Giveaway From Accessories Designers, Ivan and Mary
Ivan & Mary are designers of a line of really cool accessories … tote bags, headbands, belts … even dog collars! Their products have previously been available at various shops in Charlottesville, Virginia, but now, thanks to a website re-design, you can shop on-line. To celebrate, they’re giving away one tote bag to three different Style Me Pretty readers! These bags would certainly make great bridesmaids gifts …
from Mindy … Each Ivan and Mary bag has its own personality, just like each special attendant. Some brides choose to do a different bag for each attendant, while others choose one design that matches her color scheme. She can consider filling the bags with wedding day essentials such as tissues, bottled water, lip gloss, safety pins, and snacks. The tote will be used for years to come after the big day!
We counted 21 different fabrics for the totes … and Mindy wants to know which are your favorites. Let us know which is your favorite … and it could be yours! They all have names, so be specific. Voting is open for a week … we’ll announce the winners of the Ivan and Mary Tote Bag Giveaway next Thursday morning.
PS: We know that not all of our readers need bridesmaids gifts … these bags make fantastic work bags, diaper bags and market totes! We won’t ask you what you’ll be using yours for … so everyone, feel free to join in the fun.

The "Eggplant Branches" tote is my favorite. The scroll pattern on the outside coordinates so nicely with the modern pattern on the inside. I could use this tote for everything - trips to the beach, market, as a gift - you name it!
Teal and Orange Garden. While the colors of the tote may not exactly fit my wedding colors, I absolutely love this timeless fabric! For my 9 bridesmaids, I would pick a different bag for each of them, my girls are all so unique! Thanks for sharing!
Although my personal favorite is "Orange Birds" I would have to pick "Black Burst" to give to my little sister. She's so hard to shop for because our styles are soooooo opposite, but I think she'd really love this tote. It'd be great to carry her art supplies and books to campus. It'd be a really nice way to thank her for being my maid of honor.
I love the orange clusters - totally perfect for my oceanfront sunset wedding! It's totally fun on the outside and I love the contrast with the more formal print that's lining it. Loves it!
I love Eggplant Branches!
The "Aqua Burst" totes would be perfect for my bridesmaids, seeing as how my wedding colors are red and aqua! Although I must admit that I'm in love with the "Pink, Lime, Black Circles" bag even though it wouldn't match the wedding theme. :-)
Patterns aside, these totes would be perfect for carrying all the day-of supplies like hairspray, makeup, etc., but then can be just as stylish when packed with a beach towel and sunblock.
I love the Blue Flower (on their web site, not shown here) and the Orange Cluster one... I lived in Europe and got so use to have totes for everything: groceries, Library books, toys, and just stuff. I have a huge collections of totes since everyone has one in their car... No plastic in my house! :)

I love the "Eggplant Branches" for it's chic yet classic look. The medallion pattern totally flatters a modern geometric taste, as well as an elegant ethnic affair. I also think they'd be great for a preppy-paisley wedding... like ours this coming May! "Lime Pears" is my runner up; I'd love to tote that pretty pattern to the farmer's market.

I love the fabrics! As I was looking at all the bags, I found one for each of my BM's personalities! Lime Pears is totally my sister, Mod Flowers for my college friend, Orange and Pink Martini for my HS friend and Choc Wave Circles for my future SIL! I am partial to the Blue Leaves! I love the orange bags i.e. the orange and pink martini, orange birds, orange pears...they would work perfect for my bridesmaids. I see them using these bags everywhere. Lots of them use totes and canvas bags to go to the grocery store to save on plastic and this would be perfect for them to stop at the grocery store run in and get just a few items.....what a statement to make with an Ivan and Mary Tote Bag....I love them!

I love the birds! I don't know what happened to me, but birds have been making their way into our entire wedding. We are getting married at Sooke Harbour House in British Columbia, and it's a gorgeous, rustic venue, with all kinds of ecclectic artwork and antique furniture all throughout the reception site. We found a great birdcage stamp that ended up on our invites, and I've just picked up a couple of really cute birds for the cake. love!

I love the Birds of a Feather tote. It's so perfect for my bridesmaids, in that we've all "flocked together" since we were very young friends, as well as coordinating nicely with the sage tones we're using for the wedding. It's cute and whimsical and way fun-- they'd love it.
I'm the youngest of 4 girls. At first I wasn't going to have a bridal party (my sisters are in their 40s and I wasn't sure if they were "too old" or something).
When I asked them to be my bridesmaids a few weeks ago, though, I knew I had made the right decision. They are so excited! And they've been really supportive with wedding planning (my mom's been ill and hasn't been able to help).

The Teal & Orange Garden Tote is to die for. It's gorgeous. I love the combination of the two colors so much that I redoing my kitchen in them. But I love the way the bag is so fun and bright and happy. I love using color to express emotion. I like that I can choose a different print to reflect each girl so that she feels special, while at the same time ensuring that no one feels they got left out with a lesser gift. Now I just need to think of something to fill them... My favorites are:
Brown & Grey Martini: cute & mod, the bright lining really pops
Eggplant Branches: so pretty without being too girly--I think I might like the dandelion lining even more than the outer pattern

Never one to commit to one thing when given the option of so many, I have to say that I love "orange birds," "orange clusters" and "teal and orange garden." The orange ties the three together (I love coordination!) and yet there's a great juxtaposition of modern graphic elements with the organic, classical nature themes. Definitely a combo I try to combine on a daily basis as I love things modern and antique alike.

I really love a lot of the fabric options, but my favorite is definitely Blue Flowers. I have been gathering small fun girly items for my bridesmaids since our engagement, and although I almost have all of the items, I still need something great to put it all in! These bags are PERFECT. Not only is it great to hold the items, but two of my girls are new moms (GREAT fashionable diaper/mom-bag option), one is a businesswoman (definitely a business appropriate tote!) and the last two are definitely Green-conscious (this bag is GREAT to replace all of those plastic ones!) These bags are spectacular in so many ways :) and I would love to share them with my 'maids!

Wow, this is a tough decision. I think the "brown branches" tote would go best with our wedding style and would match with the personalities and style of my bridesmaids too!
So hard to choose! I LOVE the "eggplant branches", "orange birds", and "birds of a feather". My wedding incorporates a lot of ethnic influences (Indian and Asian) so all three would go nicely with my theme. My matron-of-honour and my sister-in-law are both new moms and both travel a lot so these bags would be great carry-ons for them as well as diaper/baby bags. They would also be great totes for all of my girls who use public transportation to get to work and have tons of stuff to carry everyday. Not to mention, I would love to have one myself...so cute!

I am going to Mexico for my wedding and I was planning on putting together a "Thankyou wedding bag" full of beach goodies for all 4 of my bridesmaids for them to tote around while on the beach/resort. Mmm... I love me some "Orange Birds" tote. I like this one because it's not a pattern you see every day. Nor a color combo you see very often either. Not the wedding colors/theme I had in mind, but it's definitely worth considering. Could definitely build a wardrobe around this tote!

I adore the Brown Branches tote! The subtly and warmth of the branches make the tote perfect for both the day and the evening! The polka dots on the inside make it so fun and cheery, whereas the exterior fabric is extremely elegant. The lightheartedness of this bag makes me giddy! Definitely a must have for the girls supporting me!

Green & Pink Martini is my favorite out of all the bags. It would really compliment my mix of muted green and pink color theme that I am trying to incorporate on my big day. What a great bag for bridesmaids totes!!
I definitely like the idea of giving a different bag to each of my bridesmaids, each one tuned to their taste. So, I think I would need one Green Branches, one Mod Flowers, and one Olive and Pink Garden. So perfect!

Lila (French sister-in-law) loves gardens & flowers - Teal & Orange Garden, my twin maid-of-honor would favors purple - Eggplant Branches, Emily (soon to be sister-in-law)is a freshman experiencing all of college - she would be the birds of feather, Erin (my friend still from 5th grade) - Orange birds, Gina (playing soccer in Germany)-Pink Lime Blue Circles & lastley Jill (Gina's sister - presently in Afghanistan) - Orange Clusters. The totes are eye-catching - thank you for the beautiful colors!

I absolutely love the Brown Branches bag for two of my bridesmaids. It incorporates our wedding colors (brown and orange) without being overpowering! For my sister (maid of honor) I would go with the Orange Clusters bag since she's a HUGE fan of orange (she's the one wearing an orange dress, the other two maids are wearing brown). Also, my sister has been a tremendous help with wedding planning since I'm out of town and she's still local. I'd like to give her something that sets her apart from the other two maids.
I really love the green Pear design. We're getting married in France in my late grandfather's orchard and we're having pears and apples as our main design! I would love to use the bag for myself to keep all the precious things I'll need on the day. Tres beau!

Seriously those are some cute totes! I'm a totally indecisive lady so I'll give you my top three in no particular order...Birds of a feather, brown branches and eggplant branches... Wow look at that all my favs are pictured above. I will take that as a compliment on my good taste ;) But really...this bride needs a carry all for all those bits and pieces that must make it to the wedding!
The egglant branches would be a perfect fit for my wedding. My main color is eggplant and my overall theme is Moroccan. I think that the bags design reminds me of Moroccan tiling so its actually kind of a perfect match. So I think that would be my bag... but I'd consider giving different bags for my bridesmaids based on their personalities. And since there is a lot of variety... I think I could easily do that with these bags.

I adore the Teal & Orange Garden because it totally reminds me of my husband and I. I love the elegant, yet fun floral print, which is typical of my love for all things traditional and classic. (Like my classic ballgown wedding dress and our traditional church wedding.) But the mod circles on the inside are a definite nod my husband's love for all things orange and his fun personality that helps me step outside the box. (Like the 1951 Ford we chose for the fun factor over a regular ole limo on our wedding day.) It's like the best of both of us in one bag!
I love the Green & Pink Martini tote, which tie in with my cousin's pink florals. Plus, their signature drink is a martini! how perfect is that?

I love the birds of a feather! These totes would be perfect for my three bridesmaids - they can use them as travel totes for the wedding (they are traveling from Dallas, Phoenix and Austin - so they'll need a little extra carrying capacity) and they are all moms - so after the wedding it can be the perfect all purpose tote! I love the idea that even though my girlfriends and I are spread apart, like birds of a feather - we still manage to flock together! :) Thanks for the giveaway!

The birds of a feather tote is perfect for my bird/champagne-themed wedding! I want to LIVE inside that bag! It's ideal to carry champagne in... and it's got BIRDS on it!

I love the aqua burst! That bag is the exact one I've been looking for, for over 3 months! Not only will they go perfectly with the Casper blue Phoebe, Jenny Yoo bridesmaid dresses, but the girls would be able use if after the wedding too. I already have cute blue flip flops and white pashminas to go put into the bags.

The eggplant tote is so cute! It's sophisticated and whimsical. You can use it day or night, for work, baby, gym, shopping, of wedding planning! The best part about it is that it has not just one, but 2 really cute patterns - what looks like dandilion profiles, and a moroccan pattern. It would be great if it was reversible! Can I have one!?

I absolutely LOVE the Orange Clusters! This fits perfectly with my summer, outdoor wedding in Cape Cod. Bright and fun and I love the combination of the flower-look on the outside and a vintage look on the inside--matches my wedding venue to a 'T' (we are getting married at summer home that was built in the 1800s and are using nothing but wildflowers to decorate!). I have been looking for a great but practical gift for my bridesmaids (I've always just gotten the jewelry to be worn the day of and decided that I was NOT going to do that) and these would be absolutely perfect! The Lime Pears tote would match perfectly with my wedding. Our florist is going to use pears and apples in cylinder vases to compliment our center pieces of green and white flowers. I absolutely love the two different shades of green on the pears matched with the blue writing. Lovely!

I love the Aqua Burst! It's the same color as the stone in my engagement ring (can you tell I love aqua?). It's bright and happy and a little retro, just like my idea of a perfect wedding. My bridesmaids would love these bags, each pattern is so unique and fun.

The Aquaburst print is my favorite, no contest. It is printed without being too busy, colorful, and yet a perfect accent color to any outfit. I'd have a hard time parting with this tote to a bridesmaid...

Oh! I love them! They are as sweet and unique and individualistic as each of my bridesmaids. I would give “Black Burst” to Liz, who is chic, modern, and sophisticated. For Vicki I would choose “Pink, Lime, Black Circles,” because she is energetic, fun, and outgoing. For Martha I would pick “Eggplant Branches,” because she is sweet and romantic, and a little bit old-fashioned. I love that these each of these bags has a unique energy and spirit and personality – just like my lovely bridesmaids!!
I have seen a lot of totes similar to these but none as hip. They did a really great job combining the fabrics and I really like the handle choice as well. I must say that Orange Clusters is my favorite tote design! I think I'm choosing that one today b/c it's the first day of spring and we've had a long winter here in MI. It's bright & fun and I love the inside fabric as much as the outside. When I'm digging into my totes I like the inside to be as fun as the outside.

Hello Honeymoon bag! I love the orange clusters. Although I can see my sister (MOH) absolutely loving the black with lime green circles. These are just so adorable it's hard to choose.
The green branches tote is my style! As an event planner by profession, I would use it to carry inspiration boards, binders and my planner. These are fabulous!!!

I love these bags! Earthy, is what my bridesmaids call me and I’ve been struggling to find them gifts that would fit my laid back style and their urban style. So when you showcased these totes I thought how perfect for my fashionista bridal party yet reusable everyday bag even tree huggers like myself would use. My favorite is the Teal and Orange Garden tote. The colors complement each other and are very close to my wedding colors.

The blue flowers is my favorite design hands down. My wedding is in Newport, RI and this bag just exudes our laid back nautical theme. Not to mention the colors match ours perfectly. They would also make great welcome bags for all of our out of town guests.

Oooh, it's so hard to choose but I really like the Brown Branches Tote for my mom. she loves graphic prints and would be so happy to be surprised with a pretty new bag!
I'd snag the Black Burst for myself, but first I'd love the Aqua Burst for my one-and-only Hawaiian attendant. She's making chair covers that double as reusable shopping bags for all the wedding guests in soft cotton. This tote, personalized with her initials and stuffed with goodies for her long plane ride back to the islands, is perfect for reminding her how much I appreciate all her hard and creative work!
I really like the Orange Burst bag... it'd be the perfect honeymoon tote, but personally... I would choose Sarah from 23 March, because her story about her Hawaii bridesmaid is too awesome... complete with reusable shopping bags, which I think is absolutely commendable.

Our colors are orange, yellow, green and gray, and we're using lots of natural/found objects like branches and berries as decor. the Orange Clusters tote coordinates with our wedding colors, and I would love to give it to my MOH filled with a bottle of wine, gourmet goodies, and some beautiful personalized stationery to say thank you for always being there for me. We're almost like sisters and she's the only attendant in my bridal party!
