Did you sew the fabric in to a table runner yourself or just have it cut to specific dimensions at IKEA?

Hi Lena! August Bride, my table is from West Elm (Parsons Table). The chunky wood tables you’ve probably seen are called “descanso” tables (or, at least that’s what Classic Party Rentals calls them) and they’re fabulous. Meg (La Partie Events)

Quick question–I’m in the DC area and interested in renting nice wooden tables like the ones shown so frequently on this site & elsewhere, so that I can focus on maybe a single runner and napkins to really make accent colors stand out.

Who rents this stuff? I’ll check with the caterer and florist, but I was curious…
