These photos are just spectacular and truly a joy to see. The wedding looks amazing! I just love the theme, the colors, the simplicity and lack of formality. It suits Dee Ann perfectly! It was a perfect day. The bright colors of the decorations communicated the joy our families felt to celebrate the joining of E. and Dee, a Fiesta of Love. The mariachi were great for dancing, the food was incredible, and Aunt Canie’s margaritas, well she’s the one who taught me how to make a margrit, all in a beautiful setting. Cameron amazingly captured it all; from the honor of the ceremony to the excitement of celebration to the quite moments intimately shared. Blessings.

I can’t say enough how much I enjoyed this wedding and shooting it. I certainly shed a few tears in the process. I shot a lot of the details in the “bright” sun to get that vibrant look. I would normally wait for the sunset light for details but it seemed to fit for this event. I wish I had photographed some of the tasty Mexican food. It was gone by the time I tried! So GOOD! I was so glad to give this gift to DeeAnn and Eric because they truly appreciated it! I will be hosting an essay contest (I hate the word contest) for a pro-bono wedding for 2009. Unveiling details on my blog later this month!
