Back to Business!
Before I leave you for the weekend, I wanted to touch on just a couple of things. First, a quick reminder that I will be at the Commandant’s House in Boston (Charlestown) this weekend for a luxury bridal show hosted by the fabulous Leana Gallagher. And secondly, we have decided to give everyone one more week to get their DIY projects done. Believe it or not, we have only received a handful, and with a grand prize of $500 and three runners-up of $100, I am sure that there are more out there. wow. in most cases i would consider this over the top. But i cant help but love it. It is just so elegant and i love how the pink is all rusty. I would have to say my favourite bit is the rose hued wine glasses.

Wow. WAAAAAY over-the-top and overstyled. The floral centerpieces are lovely however. Take away the ruffly, fluffy linens and this would be a gorgeous Spring-inspired table.

OMG! I'm not a ruffly kind of girl--I like clean, simple, inviting decor, but this is truly amazing! If I were a frilly girl, I'd swoon over this even more! It's not something I'd have at my own wedding, but I could see about 10 of my bestest loving this.
Not my style, but one can appreciate the dramatic look of the ruffles.

Hmmm...the ruffles on the chairs made me think - wouldn't it be cool if you used fabric that evokes the lace, patterns or ruffles on your dress? If you love love love your dress why not have some of the decor details reflect the design? I have seen this done with cakes but never with chairs. It could be simple or ornate depending on the formality of your wedding and your dress.
