How great is this place? Monica and Brandon’s terrific Sausalito wedding was held at the Marin Headlands Center for the Arts. How great is this place?

Lea Matheson at Simply Sparkling Events, today’s featured Little Black Book member, sent us their very delightful wedding.
from Lea … “Monica & Brandon were married on a beautiful clear day at the Marin Headlands Center for the Arts which is a component of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area in the San Franciso Bay Area. The Building itself is quite unique. With its grand high ceilings and artistic feel, it makes the perfect setting for a rustic intimate wedding with close friends and family. All the vendors we had the pleasure of working with for this joyful event were extremely friendly and at the top of their game. Joel and Cara with Joel Flory Photography are the perfect combination, personable and professional not to mention their photos are stunning. Katie Powers and her team contributed to the evening a whimsical vibe and a truly delicious organic dinner. To end a perfect evening of dancing and laughs, guest enjoyed the sinfully sweet cupcakes by That Takes the Cake which gives a new meaning to the phrase “sweet tooth”. As a wedding planner it is always a delight to participate in a couple’s special day, especially a couple who are genuinely happy and caring people such as Brandon and Monica.”

There’s no doubt that everyone enjoyed this very special occasion!

As Lea said, a whole new meaning to ‘sweet tooth’!
Thanks SO much to Simply Sparkling Events, Monica & Brandon for sharing your very special day with Style Me Pretty!

Can anyone tell me where those cake/cupcake stands are from? :)
What a fun, gorgeous wedding!!!!
I love love love the centerpieces!
This is so gorgeous! those centerpieces are so beautiful!
Super laid back and family-ish!! I wish they weren't standing so far apart during the ceremony!!!
We are seeing the Marin Headlands Center for the Arts next Tuesday as a possible wedding venue, so thank you for sharing!
I love the flowers. This is awesome inspiration for me...exactly what I've been looking for...I'm having a wedding in a converted barn and I want the flowers to brighten up the space.
We love the platters that the cupcakes are on ... also, how many different colors were used in her flowers! GORGEOUS :)
We went to a wedding there a few years back & it was certainly the most gorgeous wedding I've been to, hands-down.
I'm loving the mustard wall and the whimsical florals. It looks like a genuinely fun event on a do-able budget. Amazing how little you have to do to the venue. Beautiful.
I LOVE the vibe of your wedding. I am also on the search for the perfect globe light strings. Where did you get yours? Are they HARD to find? Pretty expensive?
Thanks!
I also what to know where the cupcake stands are from. They're adorable!
I LOVE that dress! It's so innocent and pretty and classy all in one. Where did you find it? Was it one of the shops on href="http://www.gatheringguide.com/ec/bridal_shops_dresses.html">http://www.gatheringguide.com/ec/bridal_shops_dresses.html or can you send me a link? I really want to try that on. Thank you!!
That I think has to be the best looking wedding that I have seen, its not all about how much you spend and I think that having something so simple like theirs is really awesome and also having the right people around to celebrate this day with you. I wish this couple all the happiness in the world.
Just wanted to pass on that Loop Flowers did the flowers for this wedding. We are a Little Black Book member..we've asked this to be listed on this post, but I think Abby and staff are terribly busy. Just wanted to let readers know, as the Headlands is one of my favorite wedding venues...I got married there myself.
